It's clear that Barrymore's heartfelt words meant a lot to Sandler, as he got choked up while thanking her for the sentiment. He said, "Drew, that was amazing… I'm glad we met, and I'm glad we did it all and we always make our movies together." He added, "I love you, buddy. And I love your kids, and I love everything about you."
The friends have also been sure to show off their companionship in other ways over the years. Back in 2014, the pair shared a hilarious moment together singing about their long-time friendship and on-screen romances during an appearance on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon." In October 2020, Sandler was a special guest on Barrymore's talk show, showing his support for her and all of the work she's done to get to this point in her career.
