Adam Sandler is known for being a pretty funny guy and has starred in many comedies to prove just how hilarious he truly is. The actor has made a successful career for himself, finding his footing as a cast member on “Saturday Night Live” from 1990 until 1995 before going on to star in a plethora of box office hits. Some of his most notable movies include “Billy Madison,” “Happy Gilmore,” “The Wedding Singer” and “50 First Dates.”
His wit, comedic timing and ability to be an adorable goofball have made him a standout in the comedy world. While Adam is mostly known for his sense of humor, he has also shown a more romantic side of himself in his films, starring alongside several beautiful and talented actresses, including Jennifer Aniston, Salma Hayek and Drew Barrymore, to name a few.
However, his off-screen romance is by far the most beautiful one Adam has shown the world, as he has been married to his wife for years.
Adam is married to his longtime partner, Jacqueline Sandler. While their partnership and eventual marriage in 2003 might have been the greatest love story Adam had experienced, the two later strengthened their love as husband and wife when they welcomed their children to the world.
Adam is a proud father to two beautiful daughters named Sadie Sandler and Sunny Sandler, who were both cast in the Netflix film “You’re Not Invited To My Bat Mitzvah,” along with him and his wife, Jacqueline. Read on to learn more about Sandler, his family, and their upcoming film together as a family.
Jacqueline Samantha Titone, now known as Jackie Sandler, was born in 1974. She first got her start in the entertainment industry through modeling both nationally and internationally before going on to appear in a handful of films, including many alongside her now-husband.
According to her IMDb page, Jackie first worked with her husband, Adam, in the movie “Little Nicky.” A year after their first project, the two became romantically attached to one another.
In June 2023, Adam and Jackie celebrated their 20th anniversary. The actor took to his official Instagram account to celebrate the momentous occasion as he greeted the love of his life.
He shared a photo of himself and his wife during their wedding day two decades prior.
“Happy 20th my sweet Jackie! Your 'I do' was the best gift of my life. My heart has been yours since the first second I saw you and I love and appreciate your devoted soul more and more each day,” he wrote in the caption.
Toward the end of his post, Adam mentioned that he, along with his wife and two children, wanted to keep going and going in life. Adam first became a dad in 2006 when he and Jackie welcomed Sadie to the world. In a previous interview with Access, he noted that he initially didn’t know what to feel.
“When my kid was born, I was so nervous, I didn’t know what I felt,” he told the outlet, then added: “Five minutes later, maybe 10 minutes later… (the nurse and I) walked down alone to just check the vital signs and all that stuff, and I had a chemical reaction in my body, where I loved the kid so much.”

According to her IMDb page, Sadie also followed in the footsteps of her famous parents as she already starred in a few projects like “Pixels,” “Bedtime Stories,” “Hotel Transylvania” and many more.
On the other hand, Sunny was born in November 2008. She’s already a teenager in 2023 and made an appearance at the red carpet premiere of the movie “The Out-Laws,” where she starred as the character of Gracie. Similar to her sister, she also has a number of acting credits under her belt.
Despite being a popular celebrity, Adam just proved that he’s a great dad as he opted to have lunch with his children back when they were still studying in elementary school.
In a 2014 interview with The Huffpost, the actor said he would constantly visit Sadie and Sunny at their school, and their favorite meal to chow on was In-N-Out Burger. Elsewhere in the interview, he also opened up about how his life changed when he became a father, to the point that he had to make certain adjustments to his lifestyle.
"My kids give me the most joy, but there are life adjustments. I don't go out to meet anyone after 9:30 at night. I eat dinner at 6 or 7,” he said.
In 2019, the actor appeared on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” where he proved that he is a protective father to his two girls like most dads are.
At the time, he told host Ellen DeGeneres that he heard his daughters talking about boys with their friends, and when they mentioned a boy’s name, which he loved before, he got “very jumpy.” He also noted that it’s weird to see the two lock eyes with boys when they are talking.

In July 2022, Deadline announced that Adam, Jackie, Sunny, and Sadie were cast in the Netflix film “You’re Not Invited To My Bat Mitzvah,” an adaptation of the 2005 young adult novel of the same title. Idina Menzel, Sarah Sherman, Steve Buscemi, and Luis Guzmán were also cast, with Adam producing and Sammi Cohen directing.
Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, Cohen raved about Sunny and Sadie and their commendable work ethic.
“They’ve had roles in other movies, and they’re familiar with being on set, but one thing that just sticks out — they work harder than most adults I know,” she explained. “They love acting and filmmaking in general. They take such an interest in how the movie is made, and they’re both so talented.”
As for their father’s involvement in the movie, Cohen revealed that she wouldn’t have the actor any other way as he was “super involved in every step of the process.”
“It’s what makes it fun. It doesn’t feel like work. It feels like I’m making a movie with one of my best buds,” she added. There was a mutual trust. We had the same collective vision, and we were all on the same page.”
Cohen had nothing but good things to say about Adam’s involvement in the film, saying that he’s “wearing multiple hats” – from producing, acting as their on-screen father, and being an actual dad on set.

He knows when to push; he knows when to take a step back. He just understands how to make a good movie, and he’s one of the funniest, kindest human beings,” she revealed.
