Elaine Stocks shot this footage of two foxes standing in front of her back door. The two animals were seemingly trying to escape from the heat.
It's a hot day in the Putney Village of southern London. Elaine Stocks is keeping cool in her home when she hears a scratching noise coming from the back door. After seeing what is making the noise, she immediately grabs her camera and begins filming.

Stocks had seen the foxes playing in the pond of her garden a few days prior. Now, it seems that they have felt the cool air coming from inside the home. One of the foxes scratches at the door to try and escape the heat by cooling off inside. The other fox seems to stand behind until they see Stocks.
The one fox continues to scratch the door, but the second fox seems alarmed after making eye contact with Stocks. The second fox places his paws on the other fox as if to notify him of the human that is watching. The scratching fox doesn't seemed fazed as he continues to try and come into the house.
Even the animals are having trouble beating this heat. Although unfortunately for the foxes, there is no AC in the wild. No wonder they're trying to come into our homes.
