Kaylee Quinn doesn’t waste time or talent. She began dancing when she was 5, was astounding the world by 9, and now at 15, her amazing dances have garnered millions of views. She is a graceful, athletic powerhouse to watch in the coming years.

When she was 9, Kaylee took part in the Showbiz National Dance Competition Diamond Junior Division championships. What happened on that stage flabbergasted audience and judges alike and is still racking up viewers today.

Though small, the 9-year-old had the powerful athletic build and rippling muscles of a professional dancer. Kaylee glides across the stage to her starting spot. The routine begins with a floor pose from which she arches her back and slowly rises through a series of slowly upward curling twists.

Every moment is crisply defined, seamless, and apparently effortless.

The entire performance highlights Kaylee’s ability to mix leaps, turns, poses, and stationary interludes with a level of professional finesse that could make much older dancers gnash their teeth with envy.

Though Kaylee makes the dance look like it is easy to do, one can only guess at the long hours of practice she put into this routine, and all the hours into learning to dance on this level in general. This is a girl who has learned to meld both talent and passion.

Her perseverance has paid off. This dance lasts a little over 3 minutes, but has already boasted 3 million views. Kaylee has appeared on the reality TV show Dance Moms and also Stitchers.

In the video, she tells the host that her favorite style of dance is contemporary because, “I like to put my body in all different kinds of poses.” She smiles and wiggles a little bit, allowing the inner 9-year-old to peek through. Despite the maturity of her talent, she seems down to earth and just a kid who loves to dance.

If this is what she was doing at age 9, where will she be by the time she is 18? It will be fun to find out. Check out this amazing little lady’s famous performance.
