4 Preschool Students Perform Slick Chair Dance While Wearing Smart Suits

Every parent loves watching their little children's dance recitals. At preschool age, the expectation is not usually high. However, it’s safe to say that people should never underestimate the talent that children hold.

As they donned suits and used chairs as props, four boys at Artek Child Education Center in Glendale, California, managed to wow an audience of parents, friends, carers, and teachers with a remarkable degree of professionalism.

According to Private School Review, the education center teaches students in the pre-kindergarten and kindergarten grades, which means most of them typically are ages 3 through 7.

These four little boys in four little suits wowed their audience with their dancing skills. These preschoolers weren't just aimlessly wandering around the stage; they had rhythm and coordination.

The talented tots showed off their expert moves at the Artek Child Education Center Avartakan Handes Graduation Show back in 2018. The piano at the Artek Child Education Center in Glendale, California, played a jaunty tune as a preschooler marched onto the empty stage.

As they stepped in time to the music, one small dancer in black and white carried a small chair, set it down, sat in it, and clapped his hands onto his knees. He was followed by another who came from the opposite side of the stage, then another, and another.

Each costume consisted of a white shirt with black pants, a vest, shoes and bow ties. A black hat was perched on every performer's head. The looks on the boys' faces seemed to alternate between little grins and concentration.

When all the dancers were seated in a row, they started their routine in earnest. While they clapped their knees in unison, they continued to show off their skills as they moved their feet to the side and the center. After, they sat, stood and marched around the chairs, and then continued. Behind the chairs, in front of the chairs, facing backward, sideways, and forward, they wowed the crowd.

The snappy piano music and the sharp little black suits gave the whole performance the feeling of an old-fashioned silent movie. The little boys crossed their legs, tipped their hats and tapped their feet. The small dancers kept rhythm in a dance that was perfectly choreographed and diligently practiced.

As the dance neared its end, the children stepped onto the chairs while they marched in place and turned. Then, one by one, each boy dramatically jumped off his chair. With one more march around the chairs, the performers sat down on their chairs and raised their hats with a flourish.

It’s safe to say that the crowd was amazed by their fantastic routine, and people online flooded the comment section on the uploaded YouTube video to share their enthusiasm as well.

One person commented, “So adorable! I can’t believe they cleared those chairs with such ease! I would have fallen!” Another said, “Cute, beautiful. Hats off to the kids and those who taught them.”

Another person said, “sooo cute and talented boys! that choreography wasn't easy, congratulations for little performers and their teacher! :D <3” Another commenter even likened the tots to Michael Jackson and added, “WOW, what talent and what perfect timing!! I could never had done that!”
