4 Great Ways To Add Delicious Veggies Into Your Smoothie

Eating veggies with each meal isn't always possible. You don't always have the time to roast them or make them taste delicious. Whether you enjoy veggies or not, they are vital to our health and do a great job of giving our bodies the proper vitamins and fibers.

Sneak your veggies into a smoothie in the morning and you won't have to worry about finding a way to incorporate them into your lunch and dinner. These smoothie recipes include a healthy amount of veggies without sacrificing a delicious flavor. Each recipe makes roughly one large smoothie.

1. Blueberry Avocado Beet Smoothie

Ingredients:

1/2 medium ripe avocado

1 small beet

1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries

1 tbsp raw honey

1 cup almond or hemp milk

2 tbsp almond butter
 

Directions:

You can roast the beet ahead of time or buy pre-roasted beets in the store. Chop up the avocado and beets before throwing in the blender. Pack everything in a blender and whiz it up!

2. Spinach Kiwi Mango Smoothie

Ingredients:

3 ripe kiwis, peeled

1 cup spinach

1/2 cup mango, chopped

1 banana

1 cup almond or hemp milk
 

Directions:

Peel your kiwis, chop up your mango, and throw them in the blender along with the other ingredients. Enjoy your veggie fruit creation!

3. Pineapple Mango Carrot Delight

Ingredients:

1/3 cup mango, chopped

1/3 cup fresh squeezed orange juice

1/3 cup pineapple

3 medium carrots

1 tsp minced ginger or 1/2 tsp powdered ginger

1 cup filtered water
 

Directions:

Throw all these yummy ingredients into a blender and whiz away. If you don't have fresh squeezed orange juice, half of a peeled orange will do.

4. Strawberry Cherry Tomato

Ingredients:

1/2 cup sliced strawberries

1 cup diced cherry tomatoes

1/3 cup greek yogurt

2 tbsp honey or agave

1 cup filtered water
 

Directions:

Blend all ingredients and start your morning off the right way!
