Nov 09, 2018 by apost team
You may not be aware of it, but your feet actually hold reflection zones that can have effects on your internal organs. You can even improve the overall state of your well-being just by simply pressing on them!
We’ve compiled a list of the most notable points and can advise you on how to massage them in order to feel more happy and healthy.
Tips On How To Massage
- Start by massaging your entire foot to warm up the area. You can begin by stretching and walking around your home barefoot. Raise your body up onto your toes, or even soak your feet in a warm bath.
- Massage the whole foot gently, then press on the active points for 3 to 8 seconds. Move in the direction from your toes back to the heel. Remember to stretch, tap, pinch or rub.
- You may encounter some trigger points during the massaging process. This means that the organs associated with these points might be having an issue. Be thorough when massaging these trigger areas.
- Press painful areas firmly with your thumb, remembering to pause in between. Don’t continue this process for longer than a minute, and your pain should disappear.

Remember the contraindications for feet massaging, such as fevers, disorders involving blood clots, deep cuts, or foot trauma.

Main Reflection Zones Of The Feet
Your right and left feet are both divided into 5 different zones. They can be formed by 4 straight lines. The zones each correlate to a particular area of the body and are associated with the organs inside of these areas.
Zone One
Zone one is identical on both the right and left foot. The symmetry of paired organs is repeated on both the right and left foot, respectively.
Zone Two
The zones on your right and left foot are different in zone two. The heart area on your left foot can be massaged when you begin to feel intense excitement or even minor stress.
Zone Three
The right and the left foot have extremely different points, so it’s important to pay attention to which areas need to be massaged between the organs such as your stomach, liver, and pancreas.
Zone Four
Zone four is identical on both feet, holding the points for both of your bowels.
Zone Five
Much like zone four, the fifth zone is the same on both feet, having identical points for your genitals and spots from insomnia.
