16-Year-Old Nick rewrote the lyrics of "I Dreamed A Dream" from Les Miserables to express what everybody is feeling during the current lockdown.

The chaos surrounding the Coronavirus pandemic has affected everyone in different ways. Some people are in hospitals fighting for their lives, while others look after loved ones in danger of catching the disease. Our hearts go out to them as we wait for the light to emerge.

Some people are tackling this situation like true artists. It's given them an abundance of time and creativity. Art is proven to be a great way to cope with stressful situations and vent frustration. Through art, human beings discover their strength.

In this video, we can hear the result of one teenager's creativity. Sixteen-year-old Nick hasn't spent hours brooding over negativity; he's come up with a remix of a beloved song from Les Miserables, "I Dreamed A Dream". He took the song and added lyrics that reflect our crisis.

In choosing to sing of his frustrations, Nick has done more than making a remix. He's found a healthy way to vent his frustration regarding the changes that we face this year. In the song, he mentions having to change his summer plans. He also laments the fact that so many people have no work. It is a song of compassion, something that we could all use these days.

Though his mom keeps a straight face as she listens to his remix, we can see it has surprised her. She probably didn't think that her son could turn a dark subject into something beautiful. It must have been wonderful to realize that, in the moments he spent alone, he was preparing a surprise.

We agree with his mother. There should be more people like Nick, who know how to use deep emotions to bring forth masterpieces. When all of this is over, we will remember that art and music got us through the harshest of storms.

It's true that this pandemic is affecting everyone in different ways. It's also true that we can choose to fight back with art. We hope that this video will inspire you to keep marching on until all of this is over. Don't forget to pass this story along to someone who is struggling at the moment!
