It’s rare to find someone who has a true sense of integrity these days. Most people are all about themselves nowadays, and narcissism and greed are traits we see all too often. The following sixteen traits are common among men and women who do happen to have a very strong sense of integrity.

One of the more common traits among those with integrity is that they are very trustworthy people. Once they have your trust, they will try hard to keep it.

These types of people are very honest and feel as if they do not need to lie. You can trust what they are saying as the whole truth. 

If you know someone who is truly authentic, they are more than likely full of integrity. They don’t have to pretend to be something they are not. 

A person with integrity often doesn’t know their own worth. They will do good things every time that they can without noticing how kind they are. They will downplay their actions.

They often help the people around them for no reason other than they want to. They truly enjoy improving the lives of those around them.

A person with true integrity will do whatever they can to cheer someone up. They love to brighten someone’s day. 

A person with true integrity will have no problem apologizing when they are wrong. They can admit their mistakes and will do what they can to fix them. 

They see the good in other people. They know that while some people are liars and cheaters, they give people the benefit of the doubt. 

These types of people will always try to discuss problems in a calm and civil manner. In some cases, they will simply not argue at all to avoid the drama.

A person with integrity will show how genuine they are in their actions. For example, they will be the first person to return a lost wallet without looking for a reward or praise. 

A person with integrity can tell when someone is upset or down. They will then try to cheer the person up to the best of their ability. 

They do not like to take advantage of the people around them. They will build others up and help them succeed instead of keeping them down,

A person with integrity will never take credit for things that they did not have a hand in. They will give credit where it is deserved every time. 

They value their own time as well as the time of others. They understand that you have to be places and will not hold you up. They will also not be late on purpose, causing others to have to wait on them.

A person who has integrity will always have strong standards. They will set goals and do what they can to achieve them. They will adjust what needs adjusted in order to get where they need to be.

They won’t let you get away with failing. They will hold you accountable for your decisions and actions, but they will also do what they can to help you achieve your dreams and goals.
