14-Year-Old Makes Judges’ Hearts Pound During Stunning Performance Of Alicia Keys’ "Fallin'"

Selecting popular songs or well-known music performed by world-renowned artists can potentially set contestants up for failure, even if they are just a bit off-key. These songs are so well-known that even the smallest detail is noticeable if not performed correctly. However, these judges are glad that 14-year-old Lukas did not let that stop him. In fact, this teen found his love for piano and singer Alicia Keys to be the driving force behind his song selection for The Voice Kids Germany in 2016. Belting out the popular song Fallin', Lukas left the judges in shock at his vocal skills and pure talent on the piano.

As one of the most well-known singers in the music business, Alicia Keys also writes her own songs and plays the piano like none other. Releasing her song Fallin' as an ode to the complex development of love and sadness, the singer sought to write a song that would relate to people of all ages.

14-year-old Lukas clung on to this aspiration and decided to belt out the song on The Voice Kids Germany in their 2016 competition.
