11-year-old Roxli Doss was diagnosed last June with diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma (DIPG). This devastating form of cancer presents itself with symptoms of nausea, headaches, and blurred vision.

The family from Hays County, Texas, was devastated to hear the dire prognosis of those diagnosed with this rare childhood cancer. Most children do not live more than two years past the diagnosis date.

Because the tumor is located at the base of the brain, it is impossible to remove and the only treatment option is to administer radiation in the hopes of slowing its growth and prolonging life as long as possible.

Roxli's family sought opinions from doctors at well-regarded hospitals such as Dell Children’s, Texas Children’s, Dana-Farber, John Hopkins, and MD Anderson. All of the doctors confirmed that it was indeed DIPG. The brave girl underwent 11 weeks of radiation therapy in the hopes of shrinking the tumor.

After the radiation was done, the only thing that the family had left was prayer. Roxli's parents, Scott and Gena, looked to God for the miracle that they were seeking.

Miraculously, an MRI scan in September revealed that the tumor had completely disappeared. The doctors were shocked by the results. There were no signs of cancer at all in Roxli's body.

As an extra precaution, Roxli is now undergoing immunotherapy treatment in order to ensure that all of the cancer cells have been completely eradicated.

Throughout the whole process, Roxli's family took to social media to share the fight against DIPG. Now you can check out these pictures and see for yourself a living miracle in this sweet girl.
