1. Maintain a consistent lifestyle.
You can use all the anti-aging night creams and face moisturizers you like, but if you couple this healthy regimen with a regular dose of overeating, drinking excessively, and smoking, then you are eliminating any positive results to your skin and overall health. Eliminate the bad habits that contribute to premature aging in order to maintain a youthful appearance for as long as you can.

Believe it or not, but your emotions dictate the posture of your facial muscles and contribute greatly to creating premature wrinkles. By the time a person reaches the age of 40, they have created enough crevices in their forehead and around their lips that tell any person what their usual frame of mind is.
The wrinkles around their lips signifying pursed lips showing stress or anxiety and deep ruts between the brow line signifying worry and doubt on a regular basis. Consciously attempting to smile more often will deter these signs of age from happening too quickly.
3. Stop touching your skin.
Many people whether they realize it or not exhibit their nervousness through touching their face and neck regions. They will pull on their neck, rub their eyes, and even rub their face as many as hundreds of time each day.

Hair is the byproduct of everything you put in our body, and if you don’t eat enough vitamins and nutrients, you will probably have dry, oily, brittle, or thinning hair depending on what you eat and how much you are exposing your hair to extreme heat and chemically-treated products.
Maintain a healthy head of hair with regular conditioning with a homemade hair mask of either egg yolks or the whole egg. You apply it to your hair and leave it in for no more than 30 minutes then rinse in cool water. Do this once every few weeks to maintain shine and youthful bounce to your hair.
5. Stay moisturized.
As we age, our skin loses the necessary estrogen and progesterone components that help it to produce collagen which rejuvenates skin cells. A part of the process of rejuvenation is keeping moisture in the skin pores for suppleness instead of forming wrinkles.
Helping to maintain a level of moisture in the skin is crucial to keeping those wrinkles from forming. Develop a morning and evening regimen of skin care that includes a face moisturizer and couple this with a small spray bottle that you can carry with you each day to intermittently spritz your face with water when it begins to feel dry.
6. Buy quality cosmetics.
Not only can too much makeup age a woman by highlighting those small wrinkle lines that are forming, but makeup that is not of the highest quality can have additives that can have an adverse effect on your skin. It can cause rashes, acne, and even contribute to drying out your skin. You also should never go to bed with your make up on since it will embed itself in your pores and age your skin significantly over a short period of time.
7. Give all your skin some attention.
Not only is your face the window that the world sees you through, but your hands, neck, and your extremities age in their own way to show the world that you either take care of yourself or you don’t. When you develop a regimen to moisturize and clean your face, you also need to do the same for your hands, feet, legs, arms, and neck area. Find body and hand lotions that are specifically designed for these areas and use them regularly to give a complete, youthful package for as long as possible.
8. Stay out of the sun.
Staying out of the sun doesn’t mean you need to cancel that trip to the beach, but what it does mean is that when you venture outside you keep your skin in mind and cover it up as much as possible. This means wearing a sun-protective hat with a wide brim to cover your face as well as the back of your neck. It also means applying an SPF sun protector not only before you go outside, but intermittently throughout the day to ensure that you have the same protection all day long.
9. Keep a skin-cleansing schedule.
You cannot keep a youthful glow and freshness to your skin if you don’t clean it regularly. Going to bed with a full face of makeup still on will age your skin by several months each time you do it, to maintain a daily schedule of removing your makeup with a proper makeup remover product with a cotton swab and not a washcloth which pulls down on the skin.
Then, follow this up with gently patting your face dry, applying a face moisturizer or an anti-aging cream at night. Do this in the morning and then again at night to see the best results over time.
10. Don’t live two lives.
Being the person who stays out late, drinks themselves silly, and smokes like a chimney on the weekends and then works out and eats healthy Monday through Friday is not a person that is committed to looking youthful for the long-term. You have to choose one lifestyle and stick with it or else you will be defeating all the good you do during the week with your habits on the weekend.

Don’t think that the “natural look” always means covering up with the latest “less is more” cosmetics.
