Mixing a bit of water with a small amount of baking soda can help reduce inflammation under the eyes and fade dark circles: Take 1 tsp of baking soda and add it to 8 oz. of hot water or green tea. Stir this until the baking soda dissolves. Take a cotton swab and soak it with the mixture, then apply it underneath your eyes for up to 15 minutes every day until you see a change.

If your lashes are not as long as you would like them to be, create a mix of coconut oil and lavender: Combine ½ tsp. of coconut oil at room temperature with up to 4 drops of lavender essential oil. Then, apply a dab of the mixture on a makeup pad on your lashes from their root to the very tip of each lash. Repeat this procedure for no fewer than 3 weeks until you visibly see longer and thicker lashes.

3. Olive Oil

Create a glow to your skin with just a few drops of olive oil: Begin by steaming your face either with a home facial machine or by simply filling your bathroom sink with hot water and holding a tower over your head above the sink so the steam can work to open your pores. Then take several drops of olive oil and smooth it over your face. Leave on for approximately 8 minutes and gently dry your face after most of the oil has soaked into your pores. Do this daily for at 6 days for the best results.

4. Makeup Remover

If shinier hair is your goal, you can create the following natural mask: Thoroughly combine in a bowl 1 small banana (peel first!), 1 medium egg with yolk, a tablespoon of organic honey, and 4 oz. of a dark beer of your choice. When the mixture is smooth, apply on your entire head of hair, making sure to put a towel on your shoulders for the excess run-off. Leave it in for at least two hours, then rinse thoroughly under warm water until the water runs clear. This should be done once a week indefinitely for long-term results.

7. Eye Drops

If you have red and inflamed areas on your face that have also turned into a pattern of pimples as well - shop for an anti-redness eye drop at your local drugstore. Once you have bought this, put several drops onto a cotton pad and place it in the freezer for up to five minutes. Then, place the frozen pad directly on the area exhibiting redness, inflammation or pimples. You should see results within minutes.

If you have problems with facial swelling you can try this mixture to rejuvenate your face with a fresher look: Use regular table salt and dissolve at least a ¼ cup in 8 oz. of warm water. Honey works to get rid of inflammation as well as reduce acne and other skin irritation: Take a small amount of honey on a cotton swab and apply it directly to any area that has broken out with acne or even an individual pimple. Leave the honey on for a minimum of 15 minutes. Then, wash the area with warm water. This will reduce the swelling and redness and allow for the outbreak to be less visible under makeup.

For a natural exfoliation of the skin to remove dead cells, you can create your own body scrub: Mix 1 tbs. baking soda, 1 tsp. fine oatmeal, and 1 tbs of warm water in a bowl. Stir all of this until it forms a paste. It should be thick, so add more oatmeal if needed to make it thicker. Apply this all over your face and keep it on for at least 5 minutes. Rinse with warm water and you will have a fresh glow. You can also make a larger amount of this paste to use as a body scrub when you shower.
