You may not typically picture certain foods as human organs when you eat them--with good reason. However, interestingly enough, certain foods that resemble certain human organs also seem to benefit them rather significantly when consumed. Here are a few foods that resemble organs in the human body and what role they play for the body.

1. Clams

These look similar to a man's testes and can help improve the reproductive health in men. For those who want to be even better in bed, eat those clams!

After slicing a mushroom in half, you may be astounded by how similarly the mushroom resembles the structure of an ear. These guys are packed full of vitamin D which can improve your hearing and maintain bone health.

3. Grapefruit
