Your Body Is Giving You Natural Signs That Should Not Be Ignored
Jul 23, 2018
The body, for the most part, is able to recognize when something is wrong. It is aware of more things happening than your conscious mind is aware of. This is why when your body begins to show signs of damage, illness, or exhaustion they should not be ignored. As different as the mind and body are, recent findings suggest that the mind and body are much more connected than we believe. For example, when someone is upset they often feel a pain in their chest. This is a result of the body feeling what the mind is going through and reacting.
Everyone has heard stories of people experiencing a tragic event and feeling physical pain even though no harm has came to their body. You may have even had one of these experiences before yourself.

The brain isn't merely used as the thinking organ for humans. There are operations in the brain that we do not know about and are not aware of. The brain is the center of operations for everything that happens in our body. The brain is made up of a voluntary system called the parasympathetic nervous system and the involuntary system called the sympathetic nervous system. The brain uses these systems to release chemicals and trigger neurotransmitters in order to control the body.
Due to the stomach having the most neurotransmitters, the gut is often the first place you will feel physical discomfort due to mentally straining problems. When you are nervous you feel butterflies, when you are scared, it feels like your stomach jumps, and when you are intimidated you may feel a pain in your gut. All of these are normal signs that tell you that, emotionally, something is not right.
There are a number of easy to spot signs that will let you know exactly what's wrong. For example:
- A person who has constant headches may be a little bit too self-critical of themselves.
- A migraine headache can be caused by sexual fears and resisting your life path.
- Being afraid almost immediately causes breathing problems.
- Bronchitis can be attributed to arguments and disliking your home-life.
- Gallstones cna be caused, in part, by pride and thinking too hard.
- Everyone knows this one: grey hair can be caused by stress.
There are endless examples of how the body reacts to mental problems. Another important one is that infection can be triggered by anger and irritation.
These mind-body communications have been observed by patients, doctors, and scientists for years. You may have even noticed more signs and symptoms relating to the mind affecting the body. Now that you have an idea what to look for, be sure to tell everyone about these signs, and make sure they are aware of the things their bodies are trying to tell them.
