‘Yellowstone’ Star Lainey Wilson Flaunts Trimmer Figure Post Weight Loss

Sep 01, 2023

Lainey Wilson is an American country music singer and songwriter. She entered into the world of performance from an early age. Since the release of her first album in 2014, Wilson has continued to drop hot country albums back to back. The country crooner is known for her hit songs like "Things a Man Oughta Know," which topped the American country songs chart, "Never Say Never," "Watermelon Moonshine," and many others.

Wilson's journey to weight loss has made headlines, and she is rocking her new look. However, certain individuals appeared to capitalize on her body transformation as a focal point to advertise some weight loss products. Wilson took to Instagram to share a video on June 20, 2023, flaunting her trimmer figure after the weight loss. She also addressed a gummy brand that apparently featured her in their weight loss advertisements.

The "Live Off" singer has always been open about her personal life, be it her weight loss journey or her relationship. During an appearance on "The Bobby Bones Show" on June 2, 2023, the country singer opened up about her relationship with Devlin 'Duck' Hodges. The duo made their debut as a couple on May 11 at the red carpet for the 2023 Academy of Country Music Awards in Texas.

During the interview, Wilson shared that Hodges has been around for a while, "I just decided to make him wait for two-and-a-half years," She continued and described her beau as "good as gold." The "Rolling Stone" singer also added that Hodges supports her in everything she does and was also friends with her country music friends.

Wilson is known to be one who is not shy to talk about things happening in her life or flaunt her physique. The singer showed off her slimmer figure during A New York Evening With Lainey Wilson event show in New York. At the event, which was held at National Sawdust, the artist performed some songs from her 2022 album, "Bell Bottom Country'' and many others.

The "Yellowstone'' star has not been quiet about her goal to lose weight. Fortunately, the country singer has now achieved her weight loss goals and allegedly lost about 70 pounds of weight, as per a report from Women's Health. Wilson was able to achieve this goal without any surgical procedure. She let fans know how she was able to achieve this slimmer and thinner frame.

The "Wildflowers and Wild Horses" singer shed the pounds when she started working with a personal trainer. While working with the trainer, Wilson started to become more active during any of her breaks. The "Straight Up Sideways" singer engaged in outdoor exercises like going on hikes instead of doing long hours of lounges.

Aside from going on outdoor hikes, the "Smell Like Smoke" singer also engaged in cardio. This form of exercise was a massive fat burner and contributed to weight loss. Wilson also changed her diet to maintain a healthy one. She stayed away from drinks containing sugar and also changed what she had for dessert. Instead of having sweet things for dessert, Wilson had fruits. She also switched from potato chips to eating fresh vegetables.

Wilson once again flaunted her trimmer figure on social media. She took to her Instagram in June 2023 to share a short video. In the video, the singer looked breathtaking in a colorful shirt. The actress’ wavy blonde tresses framed her oval-shaped face as she flaunted the glowing hue of her skin.

The country crooner made the Instagram video to address a weight loss gummy brand scam advertisement that was trying to make money using her weight loss achievement. She captioned the video:

"PSA if y'all have seen these ads, they're entirely fake. Don't fall for them and help me out by reporting them when you see them."

In the clip, Wilson addressed the advertisements going around of her losing weight, getting hospitalized, and taking some weight loss gummies, which apparently saved her life. She explained, "Well, surprise. It ain't true." Wilson continued that the ads were a falsified campaign interested in making money instead of being honest. She added:

"If I have lost weight, it's because I'm working hard, playing hour-and-a-half shows and running around every night of my life. ... I don't want y'all spending your money on something that ain't real. Do not fall for it."

Wilson explained that her losing or gaining weight had nothing to do with her music. She concluded with a joke that instead, it would be nice if there were "gummies that made your a** tell the truth." and everyone would get one.

According to TasteofCountry, Wilson was not the only one who has been involved in a weight loss gummy brand scam. Luke Combs also went through something similar. Combs manager Christopher Kappy shared that these companies used artificial intelligence to create star's lookalikes. Fortunately, Wilson was able to address hers as soon as the ads started making rounds.
