Woman With Largest Mouth On Record On Setting New Guinness World Record

A woman from Connecticut has proven this sentiment to be true, as she has gone viral on TikTok for her extremely large mouth and wide gape, and even earned herself a Guinness World Record in the process.

Samantha Ramsdell, 31, has acquired a huge fan base on TikTok. She has gained more than 1.7 million followers on the social media platform simply for sharing her uniqueness with the world and showing off just how wide she can stretch her mouth. She first joined TikTok back in 2019, and has continued to inspire others to be themselves.

Through various videos, Ramsdell has shown just how fun and easy it is for her to eat some of her favorite foods in just a few bites while stretching her gob as wide as possible. The singer, comedian and TikTok personality has gone on to share her big mouth with the world, and even reeled in a Guinness World Record while doing so.

After going viral on TikTok by sharing videos of her eating and singing, many people became fascinated with Ramsdell and her unique feature, leaving them wondering just how big her mouth really is. Ramsdell decided to get her mouth measured at her last dental appointment in South Norwalk, Connecticut, and won the Guinness World Record for having the biggest mouth of any woman in the world. Her dentist, Dr. Elke Cheung, used digital calipers to determine that Ramdsdell’s mouth measured 2.56 inches from top to bottom lip, as per the New York Post.

Back in November 2020, Ramsdell made an appearance on “This Morning,” and talked about how she has turned an insecurity into something amazing. “I turned it into my biggest asset,” she said. “It’s crazy, I never thought I would get the reactions that I do now.” Since then, the Connecticut woman’s world has completely changed, as she has continued to inspire others to be themselves and embrace what makes them different.

“Being 31 and being able to get a record for something that really I was so insecure about, something that I wanted to keep so small, it’s great because now it’s like one of the biggest, best things about me,” Ramsdell said, celebrating the monumental occasion of officially setting a Guinness World Record. After winning the title, Ramsdell said, “You know getting a Guinness World Records title, it’s finally being almost able to show some of the bullies or people who doubted me, or tormented me, that hey -- I have a big mouth but at least I have the biggest one in the world!”
