Too many people end up getting special treatment because of their looks or their backgrounds. It is a sad fact of life that many criminals, men and women, get off easy due to who they are or because they have the money to hire the very best lawyers who know how to work the system.
It happens to celebrities all the time. Just look at the recent college application scandal involving different celebrities who bribed school officials for their children. It occurs way more than we think!
While the girl in this story wasn't famous to begin with, she certainly is now. According to the Inside Edition, Lauren Cutshaw was a real estate agent who went viral after the footage of her whining and crying was released.
The South Carolina girl told officers that she was "too pretty" to be put in jail after she was handcuffed and arrested for a DUI. She was given a slap on the wrist by a judge who agreed with her.

Cutshaw went through a stop sign while driving under the influence. She was also clocked at 60 mph. Her blood alcohol content was 0.18% when she was given a test, causing police to handcuff the girl and put her in the cruiser. It was there that Cutshaw really began her pleading.
The police station released the video of her arrest in which you can clearly hear Cutshaw telling officers about her background. She talked about graduating with a 3.8 when she was in high school and heading to college on a scholarship. She said that she was almost her valedictorian and was also an All-American cheerleader.
A judge seemed to take pity on her when her case came up in court. Although Cutshaw did plead guilty, she was able to keep her driver's license and was not sent to jail. She was given a fine of just $187 and ordered to take alcohol safety classes. She was also given 24 hours of community service and lost her job as a real estate agent.
