Jan 05, 2018
Tess Soholt is a grandma and a retired labor and delivery nurse who understands the heartbreak of losing a child way too soon. Her grandson passed away at just 18-weeks, and she has delivered a stillborn baby, two painful experiences that inspired her new hobby.
Tess spotted a wedding dress for sale for only 50 cents at her local thrift store, and decided to create something beautiful with it.

Tess started the project in her basement, but it has soon grown into a full team of seamstresses creating over 200 "angel dresses" for babies who have passed away. The beautiful dresses and bonnets are given to parents to dress their little ones in and help with their grieving.
Thinking of your child as a tiny angel who has passed on to heaven is a comforting thought, and Tess is trying to ease the despair one dress at a time. She's been through it as well, and is doing what she can to help. She's an angel on earth herself!
