Woman Starting Next Chapter In Life Gets Stunning New Look

Michelle was looking for a fresh start. Her life had entered a moment of time where she was finally able to focus entirely on herself. She was recently divorced. Michelle also had an empty nest at home due to her kids being grown and living on their own. Her career was also in a good place and was starting to slow down to meet her new lifestyle change. It was time for this empty-nester to find her own wings, too. 

During an interview with Makeover Guy, Michelle explained it was something she always wanted to do and was just waiting for the right time to do it.

Michelle traveled from her home in Savannah, Georgia to a makeover studio in Minneapolis, Minnesota to visit Christopher Hopkins, also known as The Makeover Guy. When arriving at the studio, Michelle explained that she thought it would “be a good time to reset and change direction,” according to Makeover Guy.

Since the video of the makeover was published in August 2019, it has garnered over one million views on YouTube, with plenty of likes and positive comments. The Makeover Guy channel has accumulated over 400,000 subscribers and over 257.9 million views since starting in September 2007. The channel has over 700 videos dedicated to showing off the makeovers women have received from Hopkins with quick glimpses into their lives.

Women come from all over the country to visit him at his studio. Some are mothers, grandmothers, and even great-grandmothers. These women are already established with their personal and work lives. He has also helped women who are in the midst of their fitness journeys feel even better about themselves.

The Makeover Guy

Christopher Hopkins has been shocking audiences since 1990 with his beautiful and dramatic makeovers. According to The Makeover Guy website, Hopkins has helped women from all walks of life feel more beautiful and confident by providing them with stunning makeovers. He has given a new sense of joy to every woman who comes to him looking for a way to rejuvenate herself.

Hopkins provides online content as well as a best-selling book for his clients  -- and anyone else looking for inspiration -- to immerse themselves in to get a better grasp of how to help achieve the beauty revival they’re looking for. His content includes videos of the makeovers he’s done, tips on how to do your own makeup, and fashion advice.

“Staging Your Comeback: A Complete Beauty Revival for Women Over 45” is a book by Hopkins that has stayed in the top ten in the “Aging and Beauty” section on Amazon for over a decade. The book gives insight into which hair color is right for you, how to dress for your body type, and more tips on how to enhance your overall appearance and has helped many women find a new confidence.

Michelle was blessed with natural beauty. With mid-length brunette hair, blue eyes, and cheekbones that popped when she smiled, Michelle was a stunner from the start. Her skin glowed and appeared healthy. Her overall look was subtle, yet sweet and pretty. “It is exactly what I thought would never happen,” Michelle told Makeover Guy about her incredible new appearance. 

“It really is an opportunity for just a new season, a fresh start, and maybe just a way to look at myself a little bit differently,” Michelle told the Makeover Guy studio. 

Hopkins enhanced her natural beauty through an incredible makeover. Her blue eyes shined brighter with the help of some mascara, eyeshadow, and eyeliner. Her eyebrows were made to look slightly fuller, but still very thin, natural, and shaped nicely for her facial features. 

“It’s making your blue eyes even bluer than before,” Michelle read a text message from her mother to those at the Makeover Guy studio. In fact, Michelle’s mother loved the makeover so much, she even wanted to get one herself.

Michelle’s cheekbones were more prominent than ever thanks to pink blush and some light bronzer. Her ever-present smile was definitely another reason why her cheeks were so passionately on display. Her smile was brighter than before and was given a colorful pop with a soft, natural pink lipstick.

The most dramatic change of course was Michelle was no longer brunette. Her hair was dyed a color she never expected to be. Her new ash-blonde locks were cut to a healthy length and given a bit of a bounce with some curls. Her side part was cleaned up, framing her face better than before. The style of the cut provided more volume and angles, falling neatly against Michelle’s face. The color was multidimensional with the help of some highlights. 

At the end of the interview with Makeover Guy, Hopkins is seen proudly fluffing Michelle’s hair, showing off how fun and healthy her new locks are. Michelle’s smile was radiant. 

Not only did Michelle’s hair and makeup change, but her outfit did as well. She arrived at the makeover studio wearing a white blouse with intricate black flowers, covered by a blue sweater. After her makeover was finished, she removed the sweater, showing off the delicate ruffles on the sleeves of her shirt. Even a simple change like this helped show off Michelle’s beauty and present confidence.

Everyone was shocked by Michelle’s new appearance. After texting some family and friends, Michelle received messages saying it was hard to even recognize her. They were full of positivity and encouragement, making Michelle’s smile brighter and laugh louder than before. Her mother said Michelle has always been gorgeous, but was even more gorgeous after the makeover, according to Makeover Guy.

Michelle went into the studio hoping for something completely different, and it’s safe to say that she got exactly what she asked for and more.

Michelle arrived at the makeup studio looking beautiful. Her look was neat, simple, and soft. She left with not only a new look, but a newfound confidence. Her smile illuminated nicely next to her new blonde hair and pretty pink makeup. She looked even more gorgeous than before. No one would have ever guessed that Michelle would be turning 50 shortly after this dramatic change. 

On his LinkedIn profile, Christopher Hopkins describes himself as an “entrepreneur, entertainer, cyber-star, author, and appearance aficionado.” In 1994, he relocated his old salon to his hometown in Minneapolis and renamed it from ‘Christopher Hopkins Salon’ to ‘Christopher Hopkins Image Center’, CHIC, for short. Thanks to his growing internet fame, he has no shortage of clients and hopeful beauty aspirants who would like to experience his work for themselves.
