This Swedish artist is captivating audiences around the world because of her amazing voice.

Jonna lives in a remote village in Sweden. She used to live in the city, but she decided to move eight years ago because it made her feel caged in. Within the fields and forests of the Swedish countryside, her heart has room to open up and explore.

Now, Jonna lives in a village that has just 10 residents. She made the move without planning anything out, so she quickly had to find a job on a local farm. Her tiny income was barely enough to heat her home during the harsh, freezing winters.

Jonna Starts Living Again

On one fateful day, Jonna's entire life changed. She had already learned so much from village life, but a new skill completely revolutionized everything. It all started when she began picking up new hobbies. She started to learn photography. She developed a love of writing, film, and singing. It was her love of singing that eventually led her to an ancient Swedish practice known as kulning.

Kulning was once used to call in the cattle from the mountains and fields. It was used by women in the evenings to get the cows and goats to return to the farms. Since the high pitch travels over long distances, it was even used for communicating with other herders.

In this amazing video, Jonna stands in the open field. She wears a gorgeous white dress as her hair flows in the wind. Then, she opens her mouth and a haunting, powerful voice emerges. As soon as she starts to sing, the cows turn their heads and walk toward her. Her magical, piercing voice floats over the fields. It seems like the cows are entranced by the sound of her singing.

Apparently, ancient herders used kulning in a unique, specific way. Each herder was said to have their own unique song. These songs were often passed down from mother to daughter for generations. Since moving to the remote village, Jonna's life has completely changed. She moved into an old house and started living her life. Suddenly, she started to appreciate all of the small things. According to Jonna, it is a lot like learning to love the warmth. If you have never been truly cold, you can never appreciate the comfort of a warm room.

Jonna's video has a haunting, ethereal quality to it. Because of the video's popularity, Jonna plans on releasing an album with her kulning songs.
