Windsor Castle Royal Guard 'Loses Cool,' Shoves Female Tourist Out Of The Way
Jul 31, 2018
Most of you have heard of the old saying, "When in Rome, do as the Romans do." That simply means that every foreign country has certain customs they abide by. Visitors are asked to politely do the same, but in merry ole England, one woman took rudeness to a whole new level.
If you're fascinated by the Queen's royal guard in London, then, you've got to witness this one. A female tourist in a bright yellow dress thought she'd stand outside the visitor's rope by Windsor Castle in the way of the royal guard in his neat red uniform and black bearskin hat.
Tourists enjoy taking photos of the guards as they march by.

She was obviously blocking the guard's path as a friend began snapping her photo from the proper side of the rope. She was the only tourist to step over the rope. You know what happened next, and a video has since gone viral.
The soldier began his march and swiftly pushed aside the posing visitor.
She let out a scream as she almost fell forward. The guard kept moving and said nothing. The female tourist was silent after.
People near the scene said the woman was acting like a clown before the video was taken. She reportedly made a few efforts to pull off his tall hat, grab his arm and even his rifle. She had been asked to refrain from her behavior, but she ignored the protocol. In fact, the rope was put in place because of the rude behavior of the tourist. The guard's superior made that move.
When she ignored all the warnings, the soldier lost his cool and just about plowed into her. Some claim it was a set-up; the woman purposely wanted her own viral video.
According to a statement in The Sun newspaper, the royal guards claim the ropes are there to protect the public and soldiers. Watch the video below to see the incident for yourself.
