Sep 14, 2021
Over the years, weddings have continued to become bigger and better than ever. While they’re most known as being a celebration to commemorate the day where two people profess their love for each other and commit to one another forever in front of all of their closest friends and family members, weddings have managed to become show-stopping spectacles. It’s common for the couple getting married to plan almost everything that is set to happen during their ceremony and reception, but not everything goes exactly as planned all of the time. Fortunately, some of these surprises turn out to actually be great and even make the big day more amazing than it already was.
Skylar and Daniel got married in October 2015 at the Franklin Plaza in Troy, New York. The lovebirds first met during their college days at LeMoyne College, and the rest is history. Their wedding day was just as beautiful and heartwarming as the rest of their love story. After getting completely dressed and looking absolutely stunning, the bride and groom officially became husband and wife, and celebrated their love with all of their friends and family members at a breathtaking reception.
Their wedding party pulled off the ultimate surprise for the bride and groom when they all got together to perform a fun flash mob dance. Dressed to the nines, they took the dance floor by storm with their amazing, show-stopping moves. With plenty of upbeat music and choreography to match, the flash mob caught everyone by surprise — including the bride and groom!

According to the studio’s YouTube account, Michael Justin Studios is an international award-winning wedding cinema and photography studio that filmed Skylar and Daniel’s wedding. According to the studio’s website, the happy couple greeted the studio with “open arms” on the day of their wedding, and were excited to celebrate their big day. The wedding ceremony was absolutely beautiful, but it was the reception at the Franklin Plaza that really captured the attention of their guests.
After months of preparing and practicing, the wedding party pulled off the surprise of a lifetime when they shocked the happy couple with a flash mob. Wearing gorgeous, sparkly dresses, two women from the bridal party started off the routine by dancing to “The Way You Make Me Feel” by Michael Jackson, with the rest of the bridal party joining in. After the song switched to “Latch” by Disclosure and Sam Smith, the camera panned to the bride and groom, who were both absolutely shocked by the performance.
Continuing to dance in their elegant dresses, the bridal party showed off even more moves when “Honey, I’m Good” by Andy Grammer began blasting through the speakers. Finishing off the insane performance, the groomsmen joined the bridesmaids to perform “Stop” by the Spice Girls. Even Skylar and Daniel joined in! According to Michael Justin Studios, the last part of the dance was choreographed by Skylar herself when she was younger and her bridal party decided to implement her iconic moves into their surprise performance. What a great wedding gift for the newlyweds!
