Ventriloquist Darci Lynne Ditches Puppets And Sings Flawlessly On Hit Single

Is there anything that Darci Lynne Farmer cannot do? The skilled young musical artist is known for both her beautiful singing voice and her amazing ventriloquist skills. The talented young lady captured the hearts of many when she won “America's Got Talent.”

Back in 2017, Darci Lynne Farmer shocked the world with her outstanding voice and even more impressive skills as a ventriloquist on the “America’s Got Talent” stage. She was only 12 years old when she took home the win in the competition series after stunning both the judges and the audience with her amazing performances.

Using a variety of puppets, Darci Lynne has shown off her beautiful singing voice and even rapping abilities while performing ventriloquism at the same time. She has the unique ability to incorporate her ventriloquist puppets into her musical act, delivering an impressive performance each time.

The puppets can sing anything from classic Ella Fitzgerald tunes to quirky country songs. Growing up, Darci Lynne always had a passion for singing but was too shy to perform in front of an audience. 

However, Darci Lynne has since done something she’s always been dreaming of. She released a music single on her own without her puppets. In 2022 she released her first-ever track called “Just Breathe” for a movie called “A Cowgirl’s Song.” Not only did she release the song, but she also released a new music video for it as well.

Darci Lynne also starred in the feature film for the song “A Cowgirl’s Song.” The uplifting song is a dream come true for Darci Lynne as she has stepped into her stardom away from her puppets and ventriloquism. 

“Just breathe, let go of the past / Just breathe, there’s no looking back,” the song lyrics read. “We can turn it around / Hope was lost, now it’s found / I see the light up ahead now / Just breathe,” Darci Lynne sang. 

"Growing up, I was like, 'Hollywood is where it's at, and L.A., that's where the big movies get made.' ... But now all of these amazing films are being filmed here,” Darci Lynne told The Oklahoman in 2021. 

"It was very near and dear to my heart to have my very first movie filmed here because it's something I was nervous for. But it just made the overall experience way more comfortable and easygoing and fun because the crew was a lot of Oklahoma-based people,” the singer opened up and said. She added that this wouldn’t be her only feature film. 

“So, it's kind of like my people that I got to work with, so that's been really special. And I hope to see more films coming here,” Darci Lynne shared. Darci Lynne said she loves singing, but acting has been a new and exciting change for her and her career.

"Acting has been a very interesting thing that I've gotten to explore," she said. "It's a little more nerve-wracking for me to perform in front of a camera than it is an audience because it's just not what I'm used to. It's just so different, and the preparation is different. But it was very fun,” she told The Oklahoman.
