The basic recipe of this slimming soup
- 7 ounces of onions
- 1 clove of garlic
- 1.1 lbs turkey breast
- 0.8 lbs mushrooms
- 0.7 lbs carrots
- 0.8 lbs lentils - natural or preserved
- 1.1 lbs cauliflower
- 0.8 lbs diced tomatoes
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 6 cups vegetable broth - instant
- Salt and pepper
Preparation
1. Cut the onions and turkey breast into chunks, chop the garlic into fine bits. Cut the mushrooms and carrots into thick slices and the cauliflower into florets. Then rinse the lentils until there is no foam left and let them drip off well.
2. Next, heat some oil in a large pot. Onions, garlic and turkey chunks are steamed for about 6 minutes while constantly turning. Add the vegetables and mushrooms and let everything fry for 4 minutes. Then prepare the vegetable broth and pour it into the pot. Bring everything to a boil, close the lid and let the soup simmer over medium heat for about 15 minutes. Finally add the lentils and tomatoes and let it simmer for another 5 minutes.
3. Your base soup is now ready. Once this has cooled down, you should keep it in the fridge and only heat as much as you eat. You can add additional spices to each serving if you want.
