Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman, two of Hollywood’s biggest stars, have largely kept their children, Isabella and Connor Kidman Cruise, out of the public eye. Tom, 62, and Nicole, 57, married in 1990 and later adopted the two children.
Since childhood, Tom and Nicole have primarily kept their daughter Isabella, 31, and son Connor, 29, out of the spotlight, with the media only getting rare glimpses of the pair. Despite their famous lineage, the siblings chose to carve their own paths away from the limelight.
Isabella, who goes by Bella, and Connor were raised in the Church of Scientology, influencing their upbringing and lifestyle choices. Their relatively rare public appearances highlight their preference for privacy, allowing them to navigate their lives without constant scrutiny like other celebrity children. Today, the two are still members of the Church of Scientology, proudly showing off their beliefs on their social media platforms.
Tom and Nicole’s relationship and marriage – like any coupling of A-listers – were highly publicized in Hollywood. They met in 1989 on the set of the film “Days of Thunder” and married on Christmas Eve the following year. They announced their separation in 2001, and Tom quickly filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences.
According to Mike Rinder’s book, “A Billion Years: My Escape from a Life in the Highest Ranks of Scientology,” the former Scientology executive recalled how the church disapproved of Tom’s marriage to Nicole, whom they saw as “a negative influence.”
The breakdown of Nicole’s marriage to the “Mission Impossible” star also led to her estrangement from their children as she never practiced Scientology. Tom’s devotion to his religion has also led to him being estranged from Suri Cruise, his daughter with another actress, Katie Holmes, as the two do not share his beliefs.

Tom and Nicole's first child, Bella, born in 1992, pursued a career in art. She frequently displays her artwork on social media and her website and has also started a fashion brand. While she occasionally engages with the public, she maintains a low profile, focusing on her personal interests rather than her parents’ fame.
Bella also staunchly maintains her religion, having been appointed an auditor for the church, tasked with restoring “beingness and ability.” She’s even gushed about her religion in a testimonial.
“This IS what I had been searching for. The missing piece. Suddenly everything began to make sense…This is a gift to yourself and so many others,” Bella wrote.
She has also thanked her father and aunt for their guidance in her journey, writing:
“Thank you to my Dad for everything. To Cass…I would have drowned in my own problems if you hadn’t been there to (support) me or get me through the preliminaries…It took a whole family and an (organization) to get me here.”
Today, Bella lives in England and is a member of the London Church of Scientology. She married Max Parker in 2015 without informing her estranged mother, who was also performing in England at the time.
Connor, born in 1995, has dabbled in both acting and music. He gained attention for his role in the film “Seven Pounds” alongside Will Smith and also works as a DJ. Connor has opted for a relatively private lifestyle, rarely appearing at high-profile events. His interests vary from music and technology to fishing. A source has revealed that he lives in Florida near the Scientology headquarters.
“Connor has a pretty simple life in Clearwater. He lives in his own home in a Scientology community. His life is deep-sea fishing. He has a lot of friends and seems very well-liked,” the source said.
