This Parrot Hysterically Singing 'Margaritaville' Will Have You Laughing So Hard You'll Cry
Oct 04, 2018
Henry the parrot had his audience in stitches as he broke into the classic beach tune "Margaritaville."
Friends and family encouraged the parrot as he clowned for the camera and hit all the right notes while performing superstar Jimmy Buffett's 1977 smash hit. Henry bobbed and dipped as he belted out the tune, clowning for the camera as his owner struggled to keep her composure while cracking up at the gorgeous green bird's surprisingly in-tune antics.

The feathered virtuoso performed like a pro, but seemed to run into a bit of stage fright toward the end of his otherwise magnificent performance. He made a quick recovery, though, when his human companion stepped in to help jog his memory and was able to finish with a flourish.
Encouragement made all the difference and he wrapped the performance up in a grand manner, belting out the well-known finale at top volume, "but I know, it's my own damned fault!"
There is no word as yet on Jimmy Buffett's response to the colorful cover of his song, but we are confident he'd approve of the new performer who is putting the "parrot" in "parrothead," as Buffet's legions of fans are affectionately known.
Buffett himself is still regularly performing the 40-year-old super hit for adoring audiences, and regularly invites other stars, such as Alan Jackson and Miranda Lambert, to join him in the well-known song.
Henry the parrot was also unavailable for comment, possibly due to rehearsals for his next performance, but it is rumored his hobbies include nibblin' on sponge cake and watchin' the sun bake. Whatever Henry the parrot is up to now, we wish him well in his stage career and in his search for his lost shaker of salt.
