This Mom Received A Note From Her Server While Breastfeeding In Public - What It Said Will Shock You

Mom of three Jackie Johnson-Smith has never been shy about breastfeeding her babies. After all, it is the most natural way to feed a baby.

Her and her husband decided to try a new restaurant and brought along their youngest baby, who got hungry and was breastfed during the meal. But Jackie's previous experience as a mom did prepare her for what was written on their receipt.

Jackie had never been ashamed of breastfeeding her babies in public. Her babies have to get nourished just like everyone else and breastfeeding is the normal process to feed them. But people's perceived backlash was always in the back of her mind. She mentioned that she's gotten all kinds of rude looks and stares during her time breastfeeding her three children. 

The pizza place was in Des Moines, Iowa, and the waitress had noticed as Jackie breastfed her baby. Jackie had initially tried to breastfeed the baby in the booth but she eventually decided to go to a quieter place to deal with the fussy baby.

Initially, the waitress didn't say anything but instead she wrote a note on their receipt and handed it to Jackie's husband. The scrawled note from the waitress on the receipt read "I bought one of your pizzas. Please thank your wife for breastfeeding!" Jackie shared the amazing story on her Facebook where it has gone viral.

She said that while she didn't need a pat on the back for breastfeeding, it felt nice that the waitress erased any negativity Jackie may have felt from others at the restaurant. She said that more women need to empower each other, like the server did with Jackie.
