This Border Collie Is A Better Dancer Than His Owner - And Probably Better Than You, Too

Oct 22, 2018

A few years back, in 2011 to be exact. The song "Fake I.D." was recorded. It was invented when Gretchen Wilson teamed up with Big & Rich. It's definitely a catchy tune that will have you up and dancing for sure.

This song made it to the top 50 and for good reason. "Fake I.D." was included in the soundtrack to the remake of the movie Footloose, which also occurred in 2011. This song is sure to have your feet moving.

People aren't the only ones dancing along to this great song, check out this video to see who else is. This pup has some moves and it's obviously enjoying what it's doing. Taking place at the Crufts dog show in the UK, dog lovers from all over enjoy this show.

The traditional show takes place but there is also an obedience, agility and flyable competition. This certain work of art is the heelwork to the music competition.

The handler heard the song "Fake I.D." and knew this was the pick for them. He knew the music was a great pick and the dance with his "best friend" was sure to be a crowd pleaser. He decided to enter in the 2018 Crufts show. The handler is dressed as a cowboy.

At the beginning of the routine, he and his border collie start with a crouched bow at the center of the stage.

From there, these two don't take it easy. This video is filled with four minutes of a complicated array of moves. They work great together seamlessly. They stay in time with the music and each other, never loosing a beat. Amazingly, the dog keeps focus the entire time.

A funny and great part is when the dog has the handler all tied up. This happens at the end of the routine. The dog is so excited after its over that he jumps around some - on his owner back. This is a celebration that is well deserved!

Are you a dog lover? Does this make your heart melt? Send this on to someone else that you just know would love to see the video, too!
