Teenage twins Fred and Tim Williams, known as TwinsthenewTrend, have been reviewing classic rock songs on their YouTube channel while listening to them for the first time. One that completely blew their minds is the mega classic In the Air Tonight by Phil Collins from 1981.

The twins from Gary, Indiana have amusing reactions to many of the songs they review, and one that completely blew their minds is the mega classic In the Air Tonight by Phil Collins from 1981.

The twins decided to review the video after several requests by their fans. They start the eight-minute-long review sitting side-by-side in a room with a boxing poster and a picture of rapper Tupac in the background.

After a brief introduction to their video, they hit play and immediately start nodding their heads to the beat. Tim comments, "It sounds like a WWE ring entrance or something," the drums keep going, and they are eager to know what it's about.

When the lyrics come flowing in, they are taken aback by Phil's electronic voice and are amused when he says, "Hold on." At that point, they pause the video and get ready to strap on their seatbelts for the ride ahead. The song starts softly with assertive lyrics that visibly impress the twin brothers. As the song kept playing, they fell even deeper in love with the jam that's been around for 40 years. They are dancing in their chairs and pausing several times to discuss.

Their reaction when the song reached the climax at around minute 3:41 is priceless. The boys are so shocked yet thrilled by the legendary drum hit. Fred exclaims, "I have never seen anybody drop a beat three minutes in the song! He dropped the beat at the end of the song bro, at the end of the song."

They think it's unique, funny, and crazy at the same time for Phil to drop the beat like that. Their reaction to the song went viral and many of their fans said it felt like they were also listening for the first time. They have brought such joy to people, especially amid a global health pandemic when people cannot attend live music events. Tim and Fred have been reviewing music they have never heard on their channel for a year now. Their discovery of these classics in 2020 is also putting people on to new music. It is therefore not a surprise that Phil Collins' In the Air Tonight rose into the #4 spot on iTunes in the US 40 years after its release.

Another hit on their channel was Dolly Parton's Jolene, which has gathered more than three million views and was tweeted out by the singer saying, "No point in begging; Jolene already stole these two."

On the same day of the Collin reaction, the twins did several more reactions, including an equally emotional reaction Roads by Portishead and Stevie Wonder's Superstition who they'd heard about growing up but had never listened to his music until that moment in front of the camera. Piece of My Heart by Big Brother and the Holding Company (Janis Joplin), Hurt by Johnny Cash, 7 Nation Army by The White Stripes, and Do it Again by Steely Dan have also made it to their reaction list.
