Sylvester Stallone’s Daughter Looks Like His Twin
Nov 09, 2021
Sylvester Stallone is one of Hollywood's greatest action stars. The would-be actor lived most of his childhood with his family in Washington DC, before attending university in Florida, then moving back to New York City.
It was there that Sylvester tried to make his dreams of becoming an actor a reality. But his earlier years trying to make it in the industry were not easy, as he worked odd jobs and couldn't manage to get his big break. However, eventually, his determination and persistence paid off, when after writing the script for the film "Rocky" and starring in it as well, Sylvester was catapulted to fame. This led him on a course of becoming one of Hollywood's leading action men in the 1970s, '80s, and '90s, and even today at the age of 74, Sly continues to act.
But behind his tough-guy image, Sylvester is actually a big family man at heart. Married to his third wife Jennifer Flavin, the couple has three gorgeous daughters who took after their parents' good looks. Sistine, Sophia, and Scarlet are now all grown-up and embarking on their own journeys as adults. His youngest daughter is named Scarlet Rose, and like many celebrity offspring, she's slowly making a name for herself now that she's a young adult.
Sistine has decided to try out her hand at modeling along with her sister Sophia. Although all three girls are breathtakingly gorgeous, Sistine in particular shares a resemblance to her father that is uncanny.
Read on to learn more about Sylvester Stallone's life, all three of his daughters, and how Sistine looks just like her dad.
Who is Sylvester Stallone?
Sylvester Stallone was born in Hell's Kitchen, Manhattan, on July 6, 1946, to an American astrologer mother and an Italian father who, according to the Guardian, Stallone claimed "ate raw sparrows and rabbit entrails. He was a caveman type," Stallone said. "A real character."
According to the Chicago Tribune, his mother had insisted doctors used two tribunes when she delivered Stallone, which were misused and ended up tearing his facial nerve on the left side, leaving the infant with a partially paralyzed lip, chin, and tongue. That accident would give him the slurred speech, and iconic snarly look fans recognize him for today. In his 20's, Stallone yearned to find work as an actor in the big apple of New York, but no matter how many auditions he attended, he would never get cast. "Nobody, nobody, would give me a break," he bitterly recalled.
By 1975, with a pregnant wife and only $106 in his name, Stallone was desperate to find work. But with nobody willing to hire him, he took matters into his own hands and, in under four days, wrote the screenplay for Rocky. The actor claims he was initially offered $360,000 for the script, so long as he agreed not to star in it, which he turned down. Instead, he went with a $75,000 salary with a 10% profit cut, which guaranteed him the chance to portray the main character in his film. The production was a tremendous success, grossing more at the box office than any other in 1976 and bagging an Oscar win for 'Best Picture' that following year. And the rest, as they say, is history.

Stallone's romantic life was a popular topic in tabloids, with the media following relentlessly, keeping tabs on all three marriages of his. He married his first wife, Sasha Czack, in 1974 at the age of 28. They had two sons together, Sage, who was born in 1976 and died in 2012 from heart disease, and Seargeoh, who was born in 1979 and diagnosed with autism as a child. After 11 years of marriage, the couple filed for a divorce. Less than a year before their divorce was finalized, Stallone married his second wife, famous model Brigitte Nielsen, although their marriage ended two years later.
In 1997, Stallone married his long time on-and-off girlfriend Jennifer Flavin, a former American model.
After meeting model Jennifer Flavin, Sylvester had met the one. The couple had their first daughter Sophia in 1996, the year before marrying in a civil ceremony at London's Dorchester Hotel on May 17, 1997.
"He sent me a six-page handwritten letter, in pen," she told People at the time. "It was pretty sloppy." Looking back at this from a 2021 perspective, six handwritten pages almost seem gentlemanly. Of course, back in 1994, people did not break up via text message yet. At the time, Flavin was devasted. Even more so because the rumors at the time said that Stallone had left her because another woman was pregnant by him.
In the years following, they welcomed two more beautiful daughters into their family, Sistine in 1998, and Scarlet in 2002.
In 2017, the three young ladies shared the title of Miss Golden Globe at the same event they served as the Golden Globe Ambassadors.
"Freaking out is an understatement," Sistine told People at the time. "We were dancing, we were screaming, we got some music playing, the dogs were barking, it was amazing. It was so much fun."
What made the experience all the more precious was the fact that all three of the girls were able to share the experience.
"I think that just being able to be with my sisters, [having] my best friends by my side, is going to make this experience absolutely memorable and something I'll never forget," Sistine added.
"The fact that our parents will be there and the fact that my dad won last year and he'll be able to support us while we supported him last year is a huge, huge, huge memory that we're going to all immensely cherish," added her older sister Sophia.
The three Stallone beauties won the prestigious award a year after accompanying their famous dad on the red carpet at the Golden Globes and Oscars. They had also become recurring favorites on the actor's Instagram profile, where the doting dad posts many photos of his family. For the occasion, the sisters said they binge-watched the nominated films of the year with their dad. "We get all of the screeners early and especially with my dad, he loves the movie industry so we watch them all together," Sistine explained.
Sophia Stallone was born with a cardiac malformation, which led to her undergoing heart surgery at just two months old. Despite the procedure being a success, it still didn't mean Sophia was in the clear health-wise. "Every day I think of my heart," she told Paris Match magazine in 2012. "I eat really healthy, and as I get more tired than normal, I have to be very careful when doing sports."
In the same issue, her mother described Sophia as being the ‘love of her dad’s life.’
“Sophia’s is all blue, full of books and movies. She is the one that most resembles her father,” Flavin shared. “Like him she has read nearly all of Shakespeare’s books. They have a very special bond, they think alike and even have the same gestures, Sophia is the love of his life.”
Just months after that same interview, Sopha would once again go under the knife for heart surgery at age 16.
After finishing school, she went on to enroll in the University of Southern California, from which she graduated with a Bachelors in Communications with a minor in entrepreneurship and film. Speaking to the Hollywood Reporter, Sophia said she aspired to become a successful entrepreneur and use social media to succeed.
“I want to be an entrepreneur and run my own fashion and makeup line,” she said. “I think today it’s all about digital and social media, and so being recognized is a huge asset. Like, Kylie Jenner Lip Kit is blowing up. So getting my face out there is a big part of it.”
She went on to explain how acting just wasn’t her gig:
“I used to love theater and thought I wanted to be an actress. But when I went behind the scenes in the industry, I didn’t mesh well at all. You have to have a certain personality to be an actor in Hollywood. We see the long hours, the rejection. None of it is in your hands.”
The eldest Stallone sister has also enjoyed remarkable success as a model, even working for big brands like Samantha Vega and Dolce & Gabbana and strutting down international runways.
The middle Stallone sister, Sistine, has taken notes from both her parents career-wise. The 22-year-old was signed by IMG models in 2016 and made her debut on the catwalk that same year in a Chanel fashion show. After two years of being photographed by Inez & Vinoodh and shooting campaigns for Dolce & Gabbana, Sistine returned to her native L.A. to enroll in college and pursue a Bachelors’s in communication.
“I’m ready to be a kid again, and maybe join a sorority,” she told Town & Country Mag at the time.
Last year, Sistine made her debut on the big screen in the survival horror film 47 Meters Down: Uncaged, which was praised by critics for its acting and suspense and grossed at over $46 million, according to IMDB.
Together with her older sister, Sistine started a podcast, Unwaxed, this year, in which the two Stallone girls navigate life as young single adults in Los Angeles.
The youngest of the Stallone brood, Scarlet, only recently turned 18 and hasn’t been in the spotlight as much as her older sisters. However, she has appeared many times on her dad’s Instagram feed, where the teen has regularly mocked the Rocky star’s dad jokes. In the latest Unwaxed episode, Scarlet appeared as a guest where she spoke about life growing up with the Stallone crew.
In the episode, Sistine and Sophia revealed that their parents had been strict with them, enforcing curfews and rules that, while a nuisance at the time, they were ultimately grateful for. Scarlet, on the other hand, had a much more lenient upbringing.

"I think as dad got older, I think that he began to go to bed earlier and not care as much, he takes alot of naps now," she said, with her sisters laughing in the background. "I think he still cares though because like everytime I go out he's like 'where are you going?' but, I don't think I had it as hard as you guys," she added.
Moving on, Sophia said Scarlet had actually been the little trouble maker of the family, breaking the rules left and right. “You tell her not to do something, she’ll do it!” Sophia said of her youngest sister.
The girls went on to tell listeners some crazy stories from Scarlet’s childhood to prove Sophia’s point.
“One time I cut my hair with my dad’s cigar cutters, like to the point that I was nearly bald. I think I was about 10, or something,” Scarlet began. According to her account, her mom screamed “bloody murder” upon seeing what she had done, to which Scarlet replied, “Kayotes attacked me.” To make the prank even funnier, the youngest Stallone stuffed her hair in an air vent, which caused the hair to fly out upon turning it on. “It was like snowing hair,” Sistine said, “it was so nasty!”
Scarlet would even clog the toilets in the house to prank her family. When her sisters asked her what had gone through her head when doing that, she said, “I really don’t know.”
Sistine then added, however, that while Scarlet had been “weird” growing up, she was also the most fun Stallone to be around. “I always said this growing up that you were going to be some sort of talk show host, or a stand-up comedian, you were just so unapologetically yourself.”
And what about Scarlet Stallone?
Scarlet’s humor definitely shines through in her Instagram feed, where the teen regularly posts photos from her life accompanied by hilarious captions.
On top of her Instagram page, Scarlet also has a YouTube channel — another Gen Z favorite. Despite only having posted one video three years ago, she's managed to rack up over 700,000 views! She also has over 21,000 followers, despite being rather inactive on the platform.
