Supercentenarian Is Celebrating 110th Birthday And Opens Up The Secret To Living Such A Long Life

 One woman in Oklahoma will be turning 110 years old on August 26th. Ethel Bowens was born in 1909 and if her age isn’t a big milestone to reach she was also married for 65 years. Ahead of her 110th birthday, Bowens is opening up about the secret to her long and happy life.

Currently, Bowens holds the title for the oldest living woman in Oklahoma according to ABC 11 News. The station also reports that Bowens has six children, 29 grandchildren, 54 great-grandchildren and 46-great-great-grandchildren and more on the way. Bowens attributes her long life to being married to one man, "He had to be a good man if he stayed with me," Bowens joked to KFOR. Other keys to longevity are no smoking or drinking and having faith in God. “I’m happy to be alive,” she said to ABC 11.
