Steve Irwin Sits In Tree Near Mama Orangutan But When She Spots Him, Next Move With Baby Quickly Goes Viral

It's not every day that you see a mother orangutan coming close to a human. Steve Irwin, however, was no ordinary human. A post-mortem clip of the animal lover hanging out with an orangutan and her child will have you shedding happy tears.

In the clip, Steve is sitting in a tree when a mama orangutan approaches him. The aminal lover immediately freezes and patiently waits for his animal counterpart to make her moves. While approaching, the orangutan lets Steve get a look at her child who is hanging onto her to back. Steve knows the potential danger but remains calm.

Surprisingly enough, the mama orangutan comes in peace and even has plans to introduce her child to Steve. It's not every day that wild animals in the forest that is Sumatra trusts a human enough to come near him. Introducing their children the human species is completely out of the question.

Perhaps, this mama orangutan saw what we saw in Steve Irwin: a gentle person who was willing to take crazy risks for the animals he loved. Maybe she was just having a good day.
