Shy Girl, Clutching Mic From Her Nerves Blows Simon's Mind When She Belts Out 1st Verse Of Her Chilling Twist Of A Classic

Even people who feel as though they are born for the spotlight will admit – the first time on stage is scary!

No matter your confidence in your talent, or the size of your audience, most performers are terrified, whether they show it or not. This is especially common on talent shows such as Britain’s Got Talent, that caters to young musicians or performers.

Often, we don’t know what to expect when teens, tweens, and even younger ages grace the stage. It was no different when 14-year-old Olivia Archbold steps out, smiling in a plain t-shirt and jeans. It wouldn’t take long for everyone’s jaw to suddenly drop to the floor!

Olivia gives a shy introduction to the audience, and states that she intends to audition with a song that leaves the judges a bit perplexed, and possibly quite doubtful that she can pull it off. Seconds later, the judges are stunned by her first few lines of “Arms of an Angel.” It may have seemed impossible that someone so young, with possible years of maturity still needed on her vocal cords, could pull off such an elaborate and beautiful number!

As the song continues, Olivia displays remarkable control over her voice, and leaves each of the judges in awe. The judges take turns commenting on her talent after the song ends, bringing Oliva, her two sisters, and her parents all to tears of joy.

Olivia did exactly that. You can see by her face, and you can truly hear it in her voice – this girl is exactly where she is supposed to be! Just like many before her, she was quite nervous as she awaited her time backstage. When the lights shone on her and her instrumentals began, Olivia began belting out the lyrics to “Arms of an Angel,” and the judges saw that she was in her element!

Her beautiful and pure voice is incredibly distinct, and her passion is audibly displayed as she is fully immersed in the tune. Simon, along with the rest of the judges, can easily see how special Olivia is. You can even see him grin openly and suddenly, and then mouth “Wow!”
