Sharon Osbourne Debuts Platinum Blond Look After 18 Years Of Dyeing Her Hair Red

Sharon Osbourne has officially ditched her iconic dark burgundy tresses to rock her natural shade of white.

The 67-year-old talk show host was unrecognisable on Monday as she revealed her hair transformation – 100% white hair.

Her colourist, Jack Martin shared the image of the wife of Ozzy Osbourne, as he explained that she had been having to dye her hair once a week to maintain her trademark red. And she was tired of it.

“Another great day in my career welcoming the most beautiful and elegant talk show host and entertainer @sharonosbourne for a complete transformation,” the caption wrote.

"Sharon has 100% white hair and she was coloring her hair once a week dark vibrant red for the past 18 years. She explained to me that she wanted to do this transformation [a] long time ago but every time she attempts it ends up with a disaster."

He added that she was obligated to keep going for touch-ups since she is on TV almost every day hosting ‘The Talk’. He didn’t promise her anything except that he would try his best, and it paid off. After 8 hours and blow drying it to perfection, her fresh crowning glory was revealed.

He ended the post saying: "I had [a] great time spending my day off with this gorgeous, humble, and sweet soul," before going on to list the products he used to help her achieve this stunning new look.

Jack Martin is the same genius who transformed 87-year-old Jane Fonda with a brand new grey pixie cut at the Oscars this year. We have a feeling we’re going to see even more celebrities embracing their greyness.

Sharon's daughter Kelly Osbourne for one has been known to go for platinum hues when she switches up her look.
