Shania Twain Shines Bright In Pink & Tangerine Leotard And Sparkling Thigh-High Boots While Performing On Tour

Shania Twain has a career most people dream of. The Canadian singer and songwriter is best known for her songs "Man, I Feel Like a Woman" and "Any Man of Mine." She has sold over 100 million records throughout her career, making her the best-selling female country music artist of all time and one of the top-selling artists in music history. Shania is often referred to affectionately as the "Queen of Country Pop."

Shania grew up poor. Her parents, Sharon and Clarence Edwards, divorced when she was 2, and her mom moved to Ontario with her and her two sisters, Jill Twain and Carrie Ann Twain, afterward. Sharon got married again to Jerry Twain, who adopted Shania and her sisters legally. Shania's parents could barely provide food for their children, but Shania didn't disclose it in school for fear that her family would be separated. 

While she knew that her parents cared for each other, Shania was afraid because of the violence between them and urged her mom to run away with the children. However, Sharon returned later. Years later, Shania's trust was also violated in her marriage when her then-husband, Robert Lange, had an affair with her secretary and best friend, Marie-Anne Thiébaud. 

Shania was distraught, and her divorce from Lange was finalized in 2010. She found love again with Frédéric Thiébaud, her secretary's ex-husband, and they married in 2011. The songstress has applauded her husband for handling the situation better than she did. She also keeps their relationship out of the limelight. 

Shania still shines brightly despite what she has been through. On July 16, 2023, she shared a carousel of pictures on Instagram that showed her performing for an audience in thigh-high-heeled boots with a pink leotard and a tangerine sash. Continue reading for details. 

Despite being 57, Shania is aging gracefully. Although she started performing when she was 8, she was always self-conscious and did not like her body. She also didn't like that she had big boobs when puberty kicked in and never went to the beach in a bathing suit. 

However, when Shania clocked 30, she realized that she would only keep depriving herself of the freedom she was entitled to, so she decided to free herself. Since then, the songstress has not looked back and has embraced herself despite getting older. 

The country music singer has also gained confidence in showing off her body and even posed naked for her "Waking Up Dreaming" cover art. Meanwhile, her marriage to Thiébaud also gives her joy, which is reflected in her music. Shania recorded her 2022 single, "Waking Up Dreaming," to show her affection for him. 

In 2002, Shania embarked on a 15-year hiatus from music after contracting Lyme disease. She was bitten by a tick when she went horseback riding in Virginia in 2003, but doctors didn't find out why she was sick for years. Shania lost her voice from nerve damage and couldn't perform. However, once the cause was detected, she underwent multiple surgeries for her dysphonia. 

The "Don't Impress Me Much" singer bounced back with energy after her voice was restored and has made up for lost time with tours, an autobiography, and a concert residency. She released her sixth studio album, "Queen of Me," on Feb. 3, 2023, and embarked on the "Queen of Me" Tour on April 28. It is scheduled to last until Nov. 14, 2023.

With her boundless energy and love for her body, Shania is pulling out all the stops with her tour outfits. The pictures from a recent concert she posted on her Instagram on July 16, 2023, alongside the caption, “A lovely night in Indiana ❤️ #QueenOfMeTour," showed her performing under the spotlight. She added, "PS - I had better luck saying bye to everyone after this show 😂."

Shania wore thigh-high glistening boots, sparkling fishnet stockings, and a pink leotard which she paired with an orange sash that cascaded to the ground at the back. She also wore a straight platinum blonde wig and topped her look with oversized sunglasses.

Shania’s dazzling look got her fans talking.

The "Queen of Country Pop'' has been making statements with her bold wardrobe since the seven-month tour began. She shared a video on Instagram that detailed how she picks her outfits with her stylists. In the video, Shania wore black sequined shorts and a pink top and, with her stylist, decided on one piece of black chiffon to be tied to her waist and another to the back of her left shoulder. She then showed herself performing on stage with the finished look.

"Wanted to give you all a sneak peek at what happens before each show backstage!" she captioned the post. "Some of you have already noticed, but I’m creating new looks for every night using outfits I’ve previously worn 💖 Some of these items have been over 10 years old!! Each outfit even has a name - This one is Holy Peach! Having so much fun giving these pieces a second life!! #QueenOfMeTour."

Shania’s fans are definitely in for a wild ride throughout her tour’s duration as she dazzles them with her unique voice and amazing outfits.
