Sam Elliott Honors ‘Road House’ Co-Star Patrick Swayze In Documentary Trailer

It's hard to believe that legendary Patrick Swayze passed away more than ten years ago. If you ever watched “Dirty Dancing”,“Ghost”, or “Road House”, you know what a heartthrob the actor was. Tragically, Swayze died at the age of 57 on September 14, 2009, after a long battle with pancreatic cancer.
Years after his death, Swayze’s fans still hold him close to their hearts just like his co-stars who can’t seem to forget about the actor.
Some of his former colleagues now got together to remember Swayze in a documentary called “I Am Patrick Swayze”

The trailer of the documentary showed interviews with Swayze’s wife Lisa Niemi as well as footage from Swayze’s most iconic movies. Hollywood stars such as Demi Moore, Jennifer Grey, and Sam Elliott also appeared in the trailer speaking about their memories of the late actor.
Sam Elliott and Swayze were co-stars back in 1989 when they both starred in the movie “Road House” in which Swayze played a bouncer at a roadside bar while Elliott played the role of his mentor.
In the trailer of “I Am Patrick Swayze” Sam Elliott only appears for a few seconds. But still he makes it clear how much he admired Swayze and his acting skills.
“I remember watching Patrick and thinking, that was so good,” Elliott admitted when he spoke about working with Swayze.
As the trailer shows, all people who knew Patrick Swayze or ever worked with him were in awe of the late actor's personality and determination.
Patrick Swayze made a strong impression on everyone he met and still keeps delighting people with the movies he left behind.
