Prince Charles Gives Fans A Rare Glimpse Inside His Birkhall Residence In Scotland
Apr 06, 2020
Prince Charles took to his Twitter profile over the weekend to share a photo which gave fans a rare inside look into his holiday home at Birkhall, Scotland, where he and his wife Camilla are currently social-distancing.
In late March, a spokesperson for Clarence House made a statement revealing Prince Charles has tested positive for Coronavirus, according to the Guardian.
The Prince was revealed to be experiencing ‘mild symptoms’ but was otherwise in “good health.” The 71-year-old lies in the highest-risk-categories for the illness due to his age. After spending a week in self-isolation, however, Prince Charles was given the all-clear from his Doctors.

Prince Charles remains in his Birkhall home, however, where he is currently social distancing as per the UK government’s recommendations. He has been carrying out many Royal engagements virtually from there for the time being. Last week, he even opened the new NHS Nightingale hospital in London – via video call, of course.
Charles took to his twitter account to post a photo of the event, which showed him in a home office at his Birkhall home.
The photo showed Prince Charles sitting at a desk in his home, with a laptop in front of him and surrounded by many sweet family photos. One of those snaps was previously shared by Clarence House for Father's Day last year.
Other photos included his parents Queen Elizabeth and the Duke of Edinburgh, as well as his grandmother, the Queen Mother. Although Prince Charles in self-isolation right now, we suspect he finds comfort in being surrounded by photos of his loved ones.
