She has sold over 100 million records worldwide, making her one of the world’s best-selling music artists of all time.

Although it's been nearly two decades since the pop star's debut single hit the Billboard Hot 100, the 43-year-old performer is still shaking things up in the entertainment industry. The singer, who has brought us hits such as "Get the Party Started" and "There You Go," was born on Sept. 8, 1979, in Doylestown, Pennsylvania.

Apart from being a trailblazer in the music industry, the punk princess has also come to be known for her quirky hairstyles throughout her career. The singer is hailed as changing the game for the pop world, not only through her edgy style of music but also for her openness, honesty, and vulnerability.

At the 2023 iHeartRadio Music Awards, P!nk was presented with the Icon Award, one of the highest awards given to an artist by the iHeartRadio Network. But before the actual award was given to her, two of her most popular songs were performed. P!nk joined Kelly Clarkson, one of her dearest friends in the industry, in a powerhouse performance of her hit song “Just Give Me A Reason,” which might be one of the greatest performances on television!

Clarkson and P!nk have already linked up in the past before. Clarkson first became a household name in 2002 following her win on the hit competition series “American Idol.” Since then, the singer has gone on to sell millions of copies of her albums and tour across the world. Some of her most notable hits include “Since U Been Gone,” “My Life Would Suck Without You,” and “Because Of You.”

With an incredible vocal tone and range, Clarkson has easily become one of the best and most recognizable singers in the world, along with P!nk.

In a February 2023 episode of Clarkson’s show, she invited P!nk on her “Songs and Stories,” a segment where they both delve deeper into the guests’ songs and what’s the inspiration behind them.

In Clarkson’s introduction of P!nk, she admitted that she was her favorite artist of her generation after listing her accolades that make the latter revered in the music industry. The two, who are both mothers, bonded over their parenthood woes and also their love of music.

During the interview, the two hopped onto a soul-stirring duet of P!nk’s 2017 hit song, “What About Us,” after explaining what prompted her to write and record the song.

Clarkson mentioned that lyrically, the song already gave the listeners a hint of what it was about, but P!nk’s explanation gave the theme more context.

Hearing Clarkson and P!nk perform together is a treat, especially for their fans, so watching them blow the roof again at the 2023 iHeartRadio Music Awards was definitely a huge gift for everybody.

Before Clarkson hit the stage, Rock and Hall of Fame inductees Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo performed P!nk’s smash song “Just Like A Pill.” After the famed couple rocked the stage, Clarkson took the stage with a quintet of violinists in the background, playing “Just Give Me A Reason.”

“Right from the start, you were a thief - you stole my heart, And I am your willing victim. I let you see the parts of me that weren't all that pretty, and with every touch, you fixed them,” Clarkson sang as P!nk joined her midway into the chorus from the crowd.

From where she was standing from the audience, P!nk stood beside her daughter Willow and son Sage.

P!nk and Clarkson’s voices blended together perfectly, as if it was a symphony of angels, with the latter allowing the former to shine and belt out her famous high note of the song.

Fans were elated with the now-iconic performance, noting how the two brought the house down with that duet.

“The amount of respect Pink and Kelly have for each other shines through in all of their performances. Whenever they take the stage together, it's just...there are no words,” a fan commented.

“Kelly and P!nk singing 'Just Give Me A Reason' legit moved me to tears. It just felt so nostalgic because I grew up listening to both of them and also that song. I love this so much! This award was well deserved!” another shared.

During P!nk’s acceptance speech, she thanked Benatar and Clarkson for their performances, and said that hearing her songs being performed by the two greatest voices alive was a “Christmas miracle.”
