Moms Receive Makeovers And Can Barely Recognize Themselves After

Are you a fan of the TODAY show on NBC? If you are, then you will know all about its segment "Ambush Makeover." Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb used to host the show together before Gifford quit in early 2019. Gifford and Kotb used to present some really great clips of men and women who have been completely made-over on live television.

The people who get "ambushed" were either there because of a nomination from their families or because they were chosen out of the crowd that very morning. Once they are ready to go, the style expert of the show, Jill Martin, provides them with stunning new outfits. From there, Louis Licari, a celebrity hairstylist, takes care of their hair and face.

On this segment, Martin and Licari chose two women who were outside of the studio. Since the video has first appeared online, it has gathered over 5.7 million views. That is because we all love seeing an amazing makeover from start to finish.

One lady was there with her best friend. Lenise is a 58-year-old woman who works as an accountant in Charlotte, North Carolina. Cheryl, her lifelong best friend, got her up at 5:30 in the morning so that they could volunteer for makeovers. Lenice was chosen and emerged without the heavy, frizzy pigtails that had weighed her down. Her best friend was thrilled at the amazing transformation. Her shorter hair and stunning makeup looked beautiful on her.

The next makeover was for Bonnie, a 60-year-old library clerk who was celebrating her birthday in the city. One of her "bucket list" wishes was to be on The Today Show, so she headed there with her husband and two daughters. They all wanted her to get a new look from the show. She was honestly a little bit skeptical when she first saw it, but she quickly warmed up to her transformation.

Her husband seemed incredibly impressed with her new look. He even adjusted his glasses in order to get a good look at his wife. When Bonnie saw herself in the mirror for the first time, she started to laugh at how different she looked. It seemed to be a very happy laugh, however. Her grey hair was now short and blonde and her makeup was stunning.
