Mom Uses Toothpaste To Teach Daughter A Powerful Lesson And It's Quickly Going Viral

A lot of people in this world understand the value of teaching others to do the right thing. If everyone had positive intentions in what they do, the world would undoubtedly be a better place. While most knowledge is learned through experience or simply listening to others, this mom taught her daughter a valuable lesson using toothpaste.

As a parent, teaching your kids how to properly act and think is an important part of leading them in the right direction. Kids learn and adapt to what they see, so make sure that you are displaying the right kind of things to your children.

This mom certainly did, but she used toothpaste to help her. 
 

Instead of simply telling her daughter the message that she wanted to get across, this mom decided to put a twist on things. With a tube of toothpaste and a plate in hand, she asked her daughter to squeeze out all of the toothpaste onto the plate.

After the daughter was finished and entirely confused, she asked what to do next. The mom proceeds by telling her to put all of the toothpaste back into the tube.
 

Impossible was the first thing that came to her daughter's mind. How in the world was she going to get all of this toothpaste back into the bottle considering how sticky and messy it was?

She wasn't, and that was the point.

The mother didn't really want her daughter to put the toothpaste back, rather she wanted her daughter to learn a powerful message.
 

The way that the toothpaste could not go back into the tube is similar to the way that your words cannot go back into your mouth. Once it is out, it is out forever. Using hurtful words and then trying to take them back is nearly impossible. Although you could ask for forgiveness, it would be similar to putting the toothpaste back into the tube. You simply cannot clean up the entire mess that was made.

The lesson to be learned from this powerful message is that you need to be careful about the words you use to others, as the pain and mess that they cause can never be fully restored and cleaned up.
