The four members of the group are Master Sgt. Caleb Green, Staff Sgt. Ron Henry, Sgt. Maj. Christal Rheams, and Sergeant First Class Jason Hanna. Green is also the official Washington Capital’s hockey team anthem singer, as reported on NBC. He said on the show, regarding his war experience, "The bond of music got us through it all."
Over the years, the members of this musical group have lost people that they love while serving the nation overseas. The grief can be unbearable but this group of musicians found that they could treat their PTSD through their passion for music. The quartet also aims to help others who are struggling with any type of mental health issues while giving them hope for better days around the corner.
For their audition on "America's Got Talent," the group chose the song "Rise" by Katy Perry. It did not take long for the judges to recognize the stirring song. While each of the group's singers has amazing voices on their own, putting them together as a quartet delivered something extra beautiful. The performance was so moving that the audience and judge Gabrielle Union all stood up to reward the talented quartet with a standing ovation. It is easy to see how the group was advanced into the next round of the reality television competition.
If you missed this patriotic group do their thing, now you can see the glorious singing for yourself. After you have watched this beautiful performance, be sure to spread the joy to everyone else in your social circle.
