As the youngest son of William Reese and former actress Sonia Darrin, Reese grew up in the state of New York and went on to find his way to making a name for himself in the vast entertainment industry. As a child actor, Reese spent a lot of time making appearances on television, whether it was guest starring on "The Mike Douglas Show" or appearing in several commercials for different food brands and items. Some of his most known commercials belonged to brands such as Post Raisin Bran and Dunkin' Donuts.

Reese was still in his early childhood years when he began becoming more of a household name and was easily seen as a rising star with a lot of potential and a bright future ahead. However, he seemed to pick a different path for himself.

Early Success

Born on April 11, 1965, Reese grew up in New York with his parents, two brothers and one sister. He attended a school in St. Michael's Episcopal Church in Manhattan until he was in the fourth grade. Around the time he was 10 years old, he transferred schools and went on to attend the Professional Children's School.

Reese has a genetic disorder known as osteogenesis imperfecta, according to Wiki. This is a group of genetic disorders that mostly affect the bones and can result in bones that break easily. Other side effects include short height, loose joints, respiration issues and issues with the teeth.

During his childhood, Reese was met with an ample amount of opportunities to make it big in the acting industry, specifically starring in television shows and in a variety of commercials. He made several guest appearances on "The Mike Douglas Show," a daytime TV talk show that was hosted by Mike Douglas. Other well known guests included Eartha KittDebbie Reynolds and Lucille Ball.

During the 1970s, Reese appeared in several television commercials for a variety of food brands, including Post Raisin Bran, Ivory Snow, Matchbox Fighting Furies, Betcha Bacon, Thick & Frosty and Underwood Deviled Ham — where he was the "Borgasmord" kid — according to Wiki. He also appeared in commercials for Dunkin' Donuts, specifically for the beloved donut holes known as Munchkins.

In 1990, Reese starred as himself in a short film titled "Whatever Happened to Mason Reese," which was directed by Brett Ratner. However, he ended up quitting the project after one of his co-stars broke a leg during filming. It wasn't long before Reese ended up making some drastic changes to his career.

His Life Today

Despite finding so much success during his younger years, Reese did not stay with acting as much as he entered adulthood. While he still works within the entertainment industry, he has taken more of a backstage role. In 2017, Reese appeared in the TV movie "Life Interrupted," and also worked on the film as a co-executive producer. According to IMDB, the movie's tagline was: "A comedy 50 years in the making,"

Since then, Reese has taken more of a backseat from the world of acting, and has become a restaurant entrepreneur with multiple businesses in the New York City area. He is also a personal manager at Mason Reese Management, according to his Instagram bio

Although he's had to close many of his restaurants, Reese seems to be living a great life and is still finding ways to stay successful. According to Celebrity Net Worth, Reese has a current net worth of $1 million. He currently lives in New York City.

Nowadays, Reese is 58 years old and stands at just under 5 feet tall at the height at 4 feet 10 inches. While much of his personal life has been kept pretty private, Reese was linked to adult model Sarah Russi in 2018. According to The Sun, the pair have a 27 year age difference and first met in New Jersey.

Despite his early fame and success, Reese has managed to live a pretty private life. He doesn't post much on social media and doesn't make many TV appearances, but it seems like the former child star is happy and doing well!
