Mashup Video Of More Than Sixty Movie Dance Numbers Set To Justin Timberlake's Song 'Can't Stop The Feeling'

In a video posted back in 2016, a Youtube user created a mashup to the tune of Justin Timberlake's hit song 'Can't Stop the Feeling.' Using 66 different movies to source different dance clips, the Youtuber created a dance sensation video that didn't involve any speeding-up or slowing-down of the original clips to fit the music. 

A Youtuber by the name of Movie Remixer decided to pump up the jams by creating a mashup clip for Justin Timberlake's 'Can't Stop the Feeling.' Because the song was such a hit in 2016—both due to Timberlake's stardom and the fact that it was the lead single for the Trollz movie soundtrack—the user decided to create this mashup video.

The Youtube video's caption reads:

"Can't Stop the Feeling, the catchiest song of 2016, mixed with 66 of the most iconic movie dance scenes from over 60 movies (starting with films from 1930s) - enjoy and share! The video took about 10 days to create (including research) and was made for likes and glory, not for money. None of the clips were sped up or slowed down."

This Youtuber must have known his movies and his moves. With astounding accuracy, he matches the movements onscreen to the lyrics and beat of the song.

He matches music and moves so precisely that one could almost believe the dances were originally set to the Justin Timberlake piece. The performers onscreen clap and snap when the song calls for it.

When the beat speeds up, we see shots of fast-paced dances. When it slows down, so do the examples onscreen. When Timberlake holds a note for several beats, the dancers perform drawn-out steps.

The sheer number of clips is impressive, too, with a total of 66 individual movie clips. Some of them you might recognize, and others may be new depending on the kind of movies you like to watch.

The mashup features a wide range of films and you may be tempted to start binge-watching ones you haven't seen yet.
