Mark Wahlberg’s Daughter Films Bang On Imitation Of Her Dad
May 28, 2023
Mark Wahlberg isn’t only amazing as an actor, but he’s also a big family man as well. The star has stated on numerous occasions how much keeping his family happy is a big priority for him. Turns out his kids feel much the same way, and his youngest daughter no doubt put a huge smile on his face when she filmed a hilarious parody of her dad.
With several different Golden Globe and Academy Award nominations under his belt, Mark has plenty to be proud of. But there’s one area of his life that he is most proud of — his family.
In 2009, Mark married his wife, Rhea Durham. Durham is an accomplished model and has been on the cover of French Vogue and Marie Claire. She even walked the runway in the 2000 and 2001 Victoria’s Secret fashion shows. Together, the couple has four kids: Ella Rae Wahlberg, 19; Michael Wahlberg, 17; Brendan Wahlberg, 14; and Grace Margaret Wahlberg, 13.
Over the years, Mark has been outspoken about his love for his kids. He often shares hilarious stories and anecdotes about them in interviews and on social media. In an Instagram post on Jan. 26, 2022, Mark shared a photo of the family at his daughter’s horseback riding meet.
He paired the photo with a heartwarming caption that read, “Her brothers came out to support even though it was playoff weekend.”
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Mark said that he sometimes has to watch his kids’ sports games from the car. He said that his kids often don’t allow him to be seen with them around their friends.
“Me being in the public eye, there are pros to that, but there’s a lot of cons,” he said.
“My kids wanna have their own identity, you know?”

“I’m not allowed to get out of the car at football practice or a game. I gotta sit in the car and watch,” Mark said.
Mark said that though he was upset at first, he wanted to do whatever he could to make his children happy. He said that it’s important to him that his children can have a normal life, and he wants to protect them from the dangers of the entertainment world while he can.
“At first I took it personally, because I wanna be there to support them, but supporting them is by making them feel comfortable in what they’re doing and them having their own identity too,” he said. “It’s very difficult.”
Mark is willing to do anything for his kids, even if he has to embarrass himself in the process. He said in a 2012 interview with Red Book that he plays with Barbies with his daughters and sometimes lets them do his makeup.
“I’m game for playing dolls with the girls,” Mark said. “If they want to play Barbies, I’ll do it!”
In the same interview, Mark said that his daughters changed his perspective on what it meant to be a man.
“Having two daughters changed my perspective on a lot of things, and I definitely have a newfound respect for women,” he said. “And I think I finally became a good and real man when I had a daughter.”
Mark made it clear that for him, his family is the most important thing in his life.
“For me, family always comes first,” he said. “I would do anything to protect them.”

Mark highlighted a surprising similarity between him and his youngest daughter, Grace, in December 2022. He shared a side-by-side photo of himself with long hair from his younger days beside another photo of his daughter. “They say we look alike? 💕👼” he captioned the post.
Grace is also an avid horserider. In April 2023, her doting father shared photos from a horseriding competition Grace took part in, including a shot of her posing with her horse and the first-place ribbon she won. “So proud of you Gracie❤️🥳😘” Mark wrote in the caption.
Turns out horseriding isn’t Grace’s only talent. Earlier that same month, Mark shared a hilarious video of Grace doing an impression of her dad while clad in clothes from his fitness gear brand, Municipal.
“Municipal from head to toe,” she said as she pointed to each article of clothing. “The new Municipal shoes, shorts. Municipal, F45, the sweatshirt, hat, and Performance Inspired.”
As she grabbed a tub of Mark’s protein shake from off the kitchen counter, she remarked, “Performance Inspired. Inspired to be better.” She continued by alluding to Mark’s well-known commitment to his religious faith and added, “Stay prayed up, make your protein shakes.”
She also took a playful jab at her father’s strenuous workout regimen. Mark has been known to start his workout routine at 2 a.m. and regularly posts photos and videos of his workouts with the hashtag “4 a.m. club.”
“What time is it?” she said as she pretended to check her watch. “Oh, 8 a.m. Gotta go to bed.”
Fans praised the young actress-in-the-making for her spot-on impression and assured Mark that being roasted by your teenage children is simply a rite of passage for every parent. One comment read:
“When our kids call us out… priceless.😂”
