Man Suffering From Cardiac Arrest Given CPR By His Pregnant Wife About To Give Birth
Oct 26, 2018
If there is an epic video that you should watch with your friends and family, it is the miracle of a millennial woman saving one life and delivering another on the same day. Miracles are rare these days, and most of them are often illusions of deception.
That is why it was exceptionally magical for such a rare occurrence to be documented in real-time. What is even more beautiful about the whole event is that a bleak moment turned out to be a beautiful beginning for the young family in Minnesota.
According to reports, 28-year-old wife to Andrew was supposed to deliver on the 16th of October when her husband suffered a cardiac arrest while sleeping next to her on their matrimonial bed. Ashley first thought that her husband was snoring, but she was hit by the reality that something was wrong when she noticed him choking in his sleep.
She was naturally alarmed and dialed 911. Fortunately, the emergency response lines were responsive, and a dispatcher guided her on how to resuscitate him through CPR. Fortunately, she managed to keep him alive long enough for an ambulance to get him to hospital.

After saving her 28-year-old husband from the cardiac arrest, Ashley Goette did not leave him at the hospital. She was supposed to be at another hospital where she was supposed to deliver her son on the same day. She was far too worried to leave his side.
The doctors suspected that the near-death experience had deprived Andrew's brain of the most critical life-supporting element: oxygen.
The news did not resonate well with Ashley, but she remained hopeful for her husband's well-being. In fact, she explains how she kept telling him that she wouldn't deliver until he came out of his coma to be with her through the life-changing experience.
Fortunately, when Ashley demanded of her husband to open his eyes the next day, he did. The doctors had succeeded in cooling his body and stabilizing his internal organs. He had not only survived the cardiac arrest but also avoided severe brain damage.
His wife had to go on induced labor at the same hospital. Of course, he was not allowed into the delivery room for his own good.
The medical experts who were handling Andrew credited his wife's responsiveness to the privilege that he enjoyed of holding young Lennon Andrew. He was the first to hold his son who was taken straight from the delivery room and into his warm hands.
