Man Filmed A Tree In The Woods For A Year And Captured Things You Never Get To See
Oct 10, 2018
Have you ever hiked deep into the forest and took the time to really appreciate your surroundings? There are few things more beautiful than the woods when the sun is shining through the branches, and the leaves are swaying gently in the breeze.
Aside from a few birds and squirrels, hikers rarely encounter wildlife on their walks. Many animals are nocturnal, and they only leave their dens at night. Animals are also incredibly smart. If they hear (or smell) a human in their territory, they are going to take off running!

You may have heard the question "If a tree falls in a forest, and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?" One nature lover wanted to know once and for all what goes on in the woods when humans aren't around.
This nature lover chose a tree near a highly traveled game trail, and they set up a camera. The trail cam remained in place for an entire year, capturing some incredible footage of animals doing what they do best: being wild. It must have taken a lot of work to edit an entire year's worth of footage down to a 2 minute and 34-second video. We are so glad someone put in the extra effort.
From winter's first snowfall to spring's newest arrivals, this video captures some truly magical moments!
