Mama June Looks Stunning After Makeover Complete With New Trendy Hairstyle

June Shannon, popularly known as Mama June, is a TV personality whose early TV fame gained traction among reality TV lovers. Mama June came to the limelight when her youngest daughter, Alana Thompson, best known for her television name ''Honey Boo Boo,'' was featured in a television series. 

Shannon and her family began appearing on television in 2011 when Alana was 5 years old. Alana's fame began on the TLC series "Toddlers and Tiaras" as she was successful in the children's beauty pageant circuit. Alana's family stood by her, especially her mother, who also fascinated viewers.

The TV personality surprised her social media fans with a glimpse at her beauty hour while flaunting a new look. In the post she made on Feb. 4, 2023, the TV star looked pleasantly different, but it came with mixed feelings from her followers.

The show featured Mama June, Alana, her siblings, as well as other extended family members and friends. The show started airing in 2012 and lasted until 2014. The family then went on to star in a couple of series and other TV shows.

Mama June has found herself in many complicated situations, leading to the abrupt end of various shows that featured both herself and her family members.

The celebrity mom did not have an easy start as a young lady. The TV personality became pregnant with her first daughter, Anna Cardwell when she was just 14 years old. After giving birth to Cardwell, she gave birth to three more daughters: Jessica Shannon, Lauryn Efird and Alana, who she gave birth to in 2005.

Mama June has been involved in several illicit activities that have strained her relationship with her children. Back in 2019, Shannon was arrested for alleged possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, per an E! News report. The TV personality and her then-boyfriend Geno Doak, who she was with for three years, also faced charges of the allegation of domestic violence in the third degree.

During a 2021 episode of "Mama June: Road to Redemption," Shannon and her daughter, Alana, talked about the impact the arrest had on their relationship. Shannon went to rehab to help her overcome her drug addiction.

Afterward, Mama June made amends as she went on to lose some weight and mend her relationship with her children. The entertainer also began dating a tattoo artist, Justin Stroud. The relationship progressed when, in June 2023, Mama June shared the news on Instagram that she had married Stroud on March 23, 2022, in a courthouse in Georgia. They had another wedding in 2023 in Panama City, Florida, which was intimate. It was filmed for the TV show "Mama June: Family Crisis." Mama June's family members, including her children and grandchildren, were present at the wedding.

The mom of four revealed that it was the family's first gathering since 2014. Therefore, the memory of her wedding became even more special to her because of the support that was shown to her by her family and friends. The family has since bridged some gaps in their relationship and has moved past their differences.

Years after the drama that enshrouded her life, Mama June entered a less chaotic era. In retrospect, she continued to keep up with her myriad of fans on social media. From time to time, she shares life updates and snapshots showing her glow-up.

The TV personality often shares reels and photos on Instagram. In an Instagram upload, Shannon's photo was displayed in a video clip as a song played over it. The snap showed her glammed up with no hair out of place. The TV star captioned the reel:

"Still my fav look u done an amazing job @calebbeautyofficial if y'all ever need hair and make up in El Paso Texas area he is definitely the person to get with."

The reel garnered both positive and negative comments. Some fans expressed their admiration for Mama June with comments like "Beautiful 😍," "Hot momma❤🔥😍" and so on. On the other hand, some people trolled the look. One user commented: "Photo shop that's all they use. She doesn't look like this at all." 

Another user penned: "Of course it looks amazing! It's NOTHING BUT A TON OF FILTERS!!!!" One other user said, "Poured tons of makeup on her 😂."

Mama June had earlier shared the post in October 2022, where she gave a shoutout to her stylist. The lengthy caption had the star mom convincing fans that her stylist could deliver an equally stunning look to any other person. She sweetly wrote:

"First pic is day 1 of glam here In El Paso Texas second pic day 2 of glam and the last pic is what it look after still looked awesome to me beside my side pony I done cause I was hot i'm telling @calebbeautyofficial is guy for all your glam need he can get u washed n blow out..”

She continued by mentioning her fashion stylist as well as assuring her followers that her stylist covered for inclusivity. Towards the concluding part of the post, Mama June thanked fans for their contributions while she was in town.
