Lindsay Lohan Gives Birth To First Child & Is ‘Over The Moon’

Lindsay Lohan, born on July 2, 1986, in New York City, is a name that has become synonymous with talent, controversy and resilience. From her early success as a child star to her later struggles with personal demons, Lindsay’s journey in the world of entertainment has been nothing short of extraordinary.

Lindsay’s career began at a young age when she started modeling at the tender age of 3 and appeared in numerous commercials. At the age of 11, she landed her first major acting role in the Disney remake of “The Parent Trap.” 

Throughout her teenage years, Lindsay continued to impress audiences with her performances in various movies, such as “Freaky Friday,” “Mean Girls” and “Herbie: Fully Loaded.” However, as Lindsay’s fame soared, so did the challenges she faced in her personal life. The constant scrutiny and pressure of stardom took their toll, leading her down a path of substance abuse and legal troubles. Her struggles became front-page news, overshadowing her professional accomplishments and raising concerns about her well-being.

Despite these obstacles, Lindsay’s story is also one of resilience and redemption. Now, the star can not only call herself a happy wife but a new mom too!  

News of Lindsay’s pregnancy first made the rounds in March 2023, when she shared a photo of a baby onesie emblazoned with the words, “coming soon…” She also captioned the post:

“We are blessed and excited! 🙏🤍👶🍼”

After the announcement, Lindsay’s mother, Dina Lohan, told People her daughter was “ready” to become a mother for the first time at the age of 37 and that she was “literally over the moon” with excitement.

“It’s incredible. We’re just so excited. It’s just such a beautiful thing for my child! And I love babies. Who doesn’t? My oldest baby is having a baby. It’s so crazy. I’m in disbelief a little bit sometimes because you’re like, ‘Well... it makes you older clearly!’” she told the outlet.

Dina said Lindsay and Shammas had been trying to get pregnant, “and then it happened, that little stick came up positive.” She added it was “the right time for her and Bader is an angel. Her husband is so sweet and they’re just so happy. They’re just really happy and ready. He’s so happy,” Dina remarked.

In June 2023, Lindsay opened up to Allure about her impending transition into motherhood. “I can’t wait to see what the feeling is and what it’s like to just be a mom,” she said in the interview that was published with various pictures of her flaunting her baby bump. She added she turned to her “Freaky Friday” co-star Jamie Lee Curtis for advice on how to juggle parenting with her career, which includes networking and taking meetings. 

“(Curtis) was like, ‘You just bring the baby with you and everything will be fine,’” Lindsay recalled.

Curtis had also posted a sweet tribute to Lindsay in an Instagram post celebrating her new chapter in life. Alongside a photo of Lindsay with her baby bump in full bloom, Curtis wrote:

“My friend and film daughter @lindsaylohan is growing up! So thrilled for her. What a mama she will be.”

Lindsay has also shared many photos of herself with her baby bump in full view, such as while she enjoyed some pool time and spent some quality time with family and friends. 

Lindsay also flaunted her baby bump in a series of photos uploaded in collaboration with nursery essentials brand Nestig on Instagram. The pictures showed Lindsay looking resplendent in a floor-length white gown as she posed in the baby’s beautifully decorated room. The caption read:

“So excited to show you my nursery & the collection I designed with @nestigbaby! Everything is inspired by the beach and is so peaceful and playful 😊 I loved working with @nestigbaby to create my dream nursery—everything is handmade and perfect for any little one in your life!”

Finally, the big day has arrived, Popsugar revealed on July 17, 2023, that Lindsay had given birth to “a beautiful, healthy son named Luai,” in Dubai. While the exact date of the birth was not divulged, the name means “shield” or “protector” in Arabic. A representative also told the outlet: 

“The family is over the moon in love.”  

TMZ reported a source as saying some of Lindsay’s family members would soon be making their way to Dubai to meet the latest addition to the Lohan brood.
