Kelly Clarkson's Husband Slyly Replaces Guitarist On Stage As She Sings Emotional Song

Kelly Clarkson could be considered America's sweetheart. She has been a household name since winning season one of American Idol and cemented herself as a presence to be reckoned with in the music industry.
A Texas native, Kelly grew up within a divided family. Her parents divorced when she was just six years old. She remained in the care of her mother while her brother left along with their father and the future star's sister went to live with their aunt.
The "Heartbeat Song" singer grew up with five step-siblings after her mother remarried. Kelly attributed this as part of the reason for her easy-going nature, but for her, the relationship she had with her father was "cancerous."

Hurt, but not jaded by her father's absence, Kelly penned the song "Piece By Piece" about both her husband Brandon and her absent father. The song describes how a father left behind his young daughter and rejected her later in life until she came into wealth. The chorus then describes a man who sweeps the woman off of her feet by acting like a gentleman and by acting like a father toward their children.
Kelly wrote the song about her husband, Brandon Blackstock. Brandon, the former step-son of country crooner Reba McEntire, is a talented guitar player. If you have ever seen Kelly Clarkson perform before, you would know that despite her talent, she sometimes gets very emotional during a performance.
Imagine her reaction when husband Brandon secretly joined her on stage during a concert as she performed "Piece By Piece!" She could not contain her surprise and choked back tears in the middle of the song, causing a brief pause.
What do you think about Brandon's surprise? Have you ever been surprised in a similar way? Let us know in the comments and be sure to spread the word about this lovely couple!
